I had read several reviews before purchasing the D-Link KVM-221 2-Port USB KVM Switch with Audio Support and found that with 1 new Dell PC with Vista and 1 older Dell PC with XP that I have not had any problems at all. I would recommend it to others but then it may depend on differences between their PC's and their OS's.

This switch is not compatible with the wireless keyboard/mouse combo in one single usb port. If you're using one of this combo keyboard/mouse, don't buy this switch. I'm going to return it and try another brand.

It did not recognize my KB and Mouse. D-Link support said to return it. After I read a couple of reviews on Newegg about problems with Dell Keyboards, I tried a Key Tronics and everything works fine. Norm
