So far this is the only adapter that works with verizon fios. we got 1 for free from verizon so we had to buy another we have the router on the 1st floor and a computer in the attic 2 floors up and it still has 87% connection quality. amazing you will not be disappointed this product is great. This is, BY FAR, the best wireless USB adapter out on the market, **IF** you get a **hardware revision V2** unit. This is clearly labeled on the underside of the unit. It has the best signal strength and durability, dropout resistance, ease of setup and ease of use. There are MANY very poor quality USB network adapters being offered. This unit is the one that Verizon gives to their FiOS customers if they do not have a working network adapter in their PC. Heard that Mac drivers are now available and work well. The first unit I received was inoperative. Zyxel tech support was fast and friendly. I had a replacement in very short time. This device performs very well, has bonus feature of "station mode", and looks really cool. Was this review helpful?

I got good deal on this product from buy.com. Shipment was little slow, but received it well. First time installed on my IBM laptop. Installation was fine. Tried to access unsecured wireless network and it did it's job very well. then I Setup my AP as WEP enabled and it worked good too after little frustrating efforts. But when I set up my AP to WPA/WPA2 it didn't even connect at all. Very lately I realized that I had to install client application which comes as a separate CD with this product and with that software (Funk Software) it could connect to my D-Link with WPA security enabled. Overall very good product, looks good and performance after connection is nice. Was this review helpful?
