5 of 5Great value. Friday, March 28, 2008 A Customer from Dallas, Texas
My family room is 25 x 25 with 2-story vaulted ceilings and this sub does a great job filling the room with base. I can now feel the rumble of explosions while watching movies. Music from my receiver sounds clear and crisp. I replaced my Bose passive sub for this active sub and what an improvement. I still have all my Bose speakers for my front, rear and center channel and it was easy to adjust my sub to match. I put the sub in the corner of the room at an angle but the low frequency sound improved when I squared up the sub with the corner and moved it about 18 inches away from the wall. This sub has plenty of power to overload this room. I had to turn it down when grandma came for a visit. The auto on and off feature works well but does make a loud click when it switches. I looked and listened to every standard consumer sub and this was the best choice for the money.
