This amped action drama stars Vin Diesel as Xander (aka Triple X), a rebellious extreme sports star with a mission to defy authority and create anarchy. In the dramatic opening scene of the movie, Xander pulls an outrageous serious of stunts with the help of a band of similar-minded jocks, broadcasts the whole event live onto the Internet with a network of strategically placed digital cameras, and then avoids being captured by the squadron of police who pursue him. When Triple X is later taken into custody, Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson), a representative from a government agency, hires the chiseled athlete and turns him into a secret agent with a mission to travel to Prague and collapse a dangerous terrorist cell operated by Yorgi (Martin Csokas) and the seductive Yelena (Asia Argento). Triple X is quickly drawn into Yorgi's lair, a stunning chateau situated in the mountains that is equipped with every high-tech modern amenity imaginable, along with a sizeable team of extra-large Slav bodyguards, a laboratory staffed by top scientists, and an always-ready gaggle of gorgeous concubines. Nothing in XXX is original. We've seen it all before in other movies, although here it is slick and well-orchestrated. Like in the Bond pictures, the violence is stylized and goreless. Cohen and his crew also pump up the visual and aural volume to extreme lengths using both traditional stunt techniques and computer special effects. - Bruce Kirkland

xXx is a great, action filled adventure movie. Vin Dielsel was an excellent choice for the main role of Xander Cage, because of his phsyical phsyique and attitude persona. The movie has excellent special effects and events, even if you have to suspend reality for a moment. Vin Dielsels not quite yet the experienced actor, but this role suits him; as he continues on in acting, he should become more comfortable on the screen. I have to personally say it's great for a movie to show a main action hero who could have been a typical person we know... isn't that familiar with guns (he forgets to turn off the safety on an automatic weapon) and can still save the world and the girl without really wanting to kill people. My favorite line in the whole movie is "forget proper! Think Playstation and blow some sh*t up!" It proves that he could have been a regular guy thrown into an extraordinary situation Was this review helpful?

This movie is a awesome movie. Vin Diesel plays a sweet ass character named Xander Cage. He is a thug and and a theif. He gets hired by the FBI to undergo a very important case. He ggoes half-way across the world to fake becoming one of the bad guys. He ends up meeting a hot girl. In the movie he gets the sweetest car. He does loads of stunts. I give this movie **** out of **** stars. It Is a highly recommened movie. Buy it now, just like me.!!!!!!!!!!!! Was this review helpful?
