How it Works:
Somewhere in your home you have a stack of “stuff” : Cable-Company DVR, a DVD player, a Windows Media center – whatever. You plug those things into Xtender (using the color coded wires in the installation kit – sold separately) and Xtender creates three new TV channels in your home – Red, Green, and Blue and puts them back into your coax cables so every TV can see them. So if you plugged your DVR into Xtender’s Red input, then from any TV in the home, you pick up a BOCS remote and press the Red button. You instantly are watching that DVR and have full control of it just like it was right there in the room with you.
Can I install it?
If you can plug a DVD player into a TV, you can do this – BOCS provides free phone support to help you through your installation and even provides youtube videos so you can watch someone else installing a system. The secret is in BOCS technology – NO NEW WIRES! Xtender uses the cable-tv wires already in your walls. Xtender will not work in apartments or condos where you do not have access to the main cable-tv splitter. Xtender is intended for Cable-TV homes, but will work in some satellite homes – please call BOCS at 1-866-966-7220 extension 2 to speak to technical support for satellite installations.
