This is my best video card I found, just plugged in my PC and installed the drivers from the supplied CD then it just worked perfectly for me, it is incredible of increasing the speed to my PC, I love it.
It's worth my money.

Buy.com was a great place to buy but now I believe NewEgg is great. The product I received is open box it supposes to be a sealed box, missing all accessories. NewEgg sell with accessories. No Buy.com Customer number to contact. Only way to communicate is the email. I received worse email response means no response until today. If cards turn out not good as I think I probably send the whole order back.
But I will give another try to Buy.com if that turn out to be the as I already received then I will stop shopping for Buy.com.

Great product, excellent price, fast shipping. Hooked up two monitors quickly. (one was analog, one ditital so need to pick the right drivers.)
Have had up to 13 windows open at a time watching quick moving stock numbers/charts and watching TV. Works great!

I went looking for a video card that would perform for my operating system (Vista Ultimate) without using my onboard video.Once I found this exceptionally good card and for the price , I was just in awe on how much different games would perform compared to my onboard video. This card was easy to install and with the cd that has the registry value included made it easy to OVERCLOCK. I would reccomend this card it took my rating from 3.0 to 5.0 in Vista performance rating. Way To Go XFX!!!

This card does what it is supposed to do. Easy to install. Best bang for the buck I could find for an 8600 with 512mb. If that is your upgrade target, you won't be disappointed. The ram is ddr2 so don't expect ddr3 speed. I am running XP Pro. I'm not a gamer so I was looking for value and not top of the line performance.

I swapped out my Readeon x700 pro for this card and what a difference. I am maxing out my BF2 right now and playing Lost Planet is just awesome.
As a matter of fact i just ordered another one of this cards to build a new computer using XFX 680i motherboard and dual XFX 8600 GT cards....this is going to rock.

Ops, forgot to mention "what a steel this is" i use more money filling up the tank on my car.

Vista ratings went from 3 and change on graphics and gaming graphics to 5 and 5.3. Not too bad for under 100$ .
Im not a huge gamer but played call of duty II without the slightest hitch. Good temporary card till you want to splurge for the nasty graphics cards, which for me will only be when i upgrade from my AMD triple core-whenever that is.
Very pleased.

I installed this to replace my integrated 6150e video.
First time I ever installed a graphics card, turned out to be a breeze. My Vista rating jumped from 3.3 or so to 5.0 graphics and 5.3 Gaming Graphics.
Cant get a better upgrade for the duckets.

I purchased this one because it seemed to be the best performance for the money. I recently purchased a computer with a mediocre on-board graphics card and this took care of that. Now my WEI scores are well balanced and my system is now ready for all but the most extreme gaming experiences.

On Monday, I picked up a GeForce 8400 GS from Circuit City in an attempt to get my Vista Aero WEI rating up from 1. I was disappointed when it only increased to 3.4. I returned the 8400 on Tuesday. That same morning, I ordered an 8600 GT from Buy.com, selected free shipping, and on Wednesday, to my amazement and joy, it arrived. I installed it, with the drivers on the disk, and my Aero WEI jumped to 4.8. I installed the latest drivers from xfxforce.com, rebooted, and it topped out at 5.9. I'm delighted with the performance of this card. I'm in front of my PC a lot, so it's a delight to have a snazzy desktop. It's a great price, too; I've seen it other places for 150.
I realize that the graphics-related WEI's are not the be-all and end-all, but it's a nice yard stick.

bought this card to install on my cheap desktop expecting no wonders.. but to my suprize it works really well.. i am running call of duty 4 all full resolution on a $600 computer after i installed this card. pretty easy to install doesnt even need additional power just plug the card in and install the drivers. resolution goes all the way put to 2500pixels. only thing i found a tad weird was that it just has 1 dvi output and the other output is vga. but its fine i guess
