5 of 5 Driver Hint Wednesday, May 20, 2009
Ice from Edinburg, TX

The card works great. However, use the driver that it comes with. I installed the latest driver and kept getting the blue screen on Windows XP Professional. A specific error code was not given. Just the file name belonging to nvidia video. After installing the original driver it all worked fine.

5 of 5 Well Built Tuesday, May 05, 2009
Simon from Champlain, NY
Got two of these for an SLI setup. It was for a replacement of an out of warranty EVGA brand 8500GT card. The EVGA had a noisy fan. Anyway, I put the defective EVGA in the garbage and sold the other one. The built quality of the XFX is far superior that the EVGA. The XFX has a huge heat sink. No fan, no noise. Works like a charm and you can't beat the price. Comes with a card the serial number on it, so you don't have to take apart your rig if you ever need to give the serial to a tech. Very very pleased with my purchase.

5 of 5 Hotter than the sun, but works fine with proper co Tuesday, September 23, 2008
A Customer from nashville, tn spring hill, tn
Well, I bought it as a low cost solution to some GA needs (I also play PlaneShift now). I read the reviews, like you are doing now. It really heats up your box. Really, really. Great card for the money, and I am happy with it, just understand you are going to have to buy some extra fans and attach them to the box. If you really want to control the temp in a small box, then you may have to get creative with your fans. Otherwise, a great deal on a great card.

5 of 5 Nice Output, Good Price Monday, August 11, 2008
A Customer from Tennessee
For the price this is a good card. Installation was easy (plug into the correct slot on the board and make sure your power supply is 350 watts or better), then you can run the driver CD and restart and you are ready. I haven't tried the DVI yet, but other connections produce good results. The other reviews are right, this thing gets HOT! Watch the temp of your box. I haven't had the time to order/buy a new fan/heatsink, but you need to. I am leaving a fan by the card and running the box with the side panel of the case off. Not an elegant solution, but it will work until you can buy a circulation device. Overall, perfect product for what I need.

5 of 5 Great video card Sunday, April 20, 2008
cgmllr from Portland, OR
The card was installed easily and Vista set it up right away. I use it for video edititing and and it works great. The picture quality and speed are great. Prior to purchasing this card I was not able to watch HDTV on the computer in which I installed it, nor was I able to edit video without it appearing jerky. Now both look and work great. This is my second XFX card I have purchased and I love both.

5 of 5 Fantastic Upgrade Wednesday, April 16, 2008
Stuart Hill from Deming, NM
Like the others who bought this graphics card, I wanted to improve my Vista performance without breaking the bank. I have not been disappointed. It installed easily and quickly, Vista found it and set it up right away, and it works like a champ. I am very happy with the speed, color, and picture quality I now have. Get you one before it is too late!

5 of 5 Happy! Saturday, April 12, 2008
Mountain Mike from Denver, CO
Video card works great to drive my new ViewSonic monitor. Used mainly for photo work, so the card doesn't have to work very hard. Price and the lack of a noisy fan were the main reasons for buying this card. Trading with buy.com is always hassle-free, and the card arrived in perfect shape on the predicted schedule. I'll gladly shop here again.

5 of 5 Great video card Saturday, April 05, 2008
cmllr from Tualatin, Or
I needed a card for video editing on a recently purchased computer which is also used as a pvr. The onboard graphics card could not handle video from my video camera or HDTV. This card is great. No fan so it is quiet and easily handles video processing. I'm not a gamer so I can't rate it on gaming ability.

5 of 5 Works fine. Friday, April 04, 2008
A Customer from Fairfax, Va
I am not an extreme user, I use this video card for editing home videos. It has improved the performance of the system, meaning the speed with which the videos load and the smoothness of the playback. Tech Support was great when I called them with specfic questions on the card.

5 of 5 Great product and easy to install Tuesday, March 25, 2008
Sully from PA
If you're running Vista you'll be blown away on how easy this thing is to install. I invited a friend over because I anticipated problems. Our jaws hit the floor when it worked right off the bat. Forget what the eggheads say, this thing is going to run most games pretty nice. I've hooked it up to a 46 inch LCD via a DVI to HDMI cable and it's capable of supplying a HD picture with no problem. Can't wait to start renting movies over the web.

5 of 5 Another great nVidia graphic card Sunday, January 06, 2008
Glenn from Tucson, AZ
This was a replacement for my 6600GT that I thought was broken - turns out the monitor was the problem. It was cheaper to get this newer card than another 6600. The performance is great and I didn't have to change the device driver since I was already current.

5 of 5 Awsome Card but gets a little hot. Thursday, December 13, 2007
A Customer from Nashville Tennessee
The card performs perfectly. It run CSS, DOD, Bioshock and other high graphics games like there nothing. The only problem i had was that it gets a little hot. Which is probably cause it only has a heatsink. All i needed to do is to put a little fan beside it to circulate the air and there was no problem. Overall im very satisfied!

1 of 5 Not sure. Sunday, December 09, 2007
bfarber from Dripping Springs, Texas
Well this is one thing that really irritates me about purchasing a product. I should get a career as a technical writer because the documentation is always lacking. It specifically stated I needed a PCIE Power supply for this card so I purchased one after doing some research on what the heck a PCIE power supply was (special connector). Nowhere in the documentation that comes with this card is there a power supply diagram or connector diagram, nor is there an adapter shipped with it that might fit the only connector on it that would connect to a PCIE power supply connector. Now I get to spend my time researching why, what and where I get what I need to install this correctly. Cant tell you how it would work but if this is your first PCI Express video card and you dont like headaches I would say I am not impressed with the effort required on my part due to the lack of documentation.
