The controller looks sharp and the price is very good. It has a good feel with good response, INITIALLY. It was the controller of choice for my daughters, but the internal materials are not very durable. After about 6 months, one of the controllers "A" button stuck down. The internal plastic pad used to return the button back up just gave out. After another couple of weeks, the left analog joystick of the other stopped responding in an up direction. I cannabilized one to fix the other, but the gamepad appears to be less than HALF as durable as the original Microsoft joystick (which is still working great).
I wouldn't buy another. The Microsoft pad, while more expensive, is a better value. Was this review helpful?

Well, the controller was nice for about a week, then the right and left thumbsticks started to not respond to me pusing down on them (for crouch and zoom in Halo for ex.) Their force feedback unit started rattling after being used for a few days, and the back and white buttons didn't respond unless I pressed really hard on them. You might get diff results, maybe mine was damaged befor I bough it but I got very little satisfaction out of these. The controller was a bit too small for my hands, and the ends of the handles started to hurt my hands after about an hour of gameplay. The only good thing I can say about these is that their thumbsticks are much more sensitive than the official Microsft ones. It was a refreshing change from the ordinary XBox controllers. I myself thing you're better off spending a few more bucks on a Microsoft controller, or something else. Was this review helpful?

The Vortex is the bestlooking and one of the most comfortable controller for the Xbox. But the force feedback is not as strong as the Xbox's, which is a negative. Also, the thin rubber coating is still a little slippery to the touch when you first use it. I wish it had more "grip". But if you want value (2 Vortex's for the price of 1 Xbox controller) with acceptable performance, this is it. Buttons are good and accurate. I don't think it will be as durable though.
