5 of 5 Xbox Live Head Set Tuesday, July 19, 2005 A Gamer from Illinois
This is a very good head set. The sound is much more clear than the original head set. Makes Halo 2 seem even more life like because the sound is coming from your inner ear. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Expensive, but best quality headset Friday, March 11, 2005 Steve from New Orleans, Louisiana
I own the headset, and the voice quality is higher than the standard Xbox Live headset. Also, the Halo2 authentic styling is very attractive, and will probably become a collector's item in time. The headset is costly, at MSRP of $49 (although they're going for cheaper now), and please note that the headset does NOT include the headset adapter that you plug into your Xbox Controller. You must own the adapter in order to use the headset on your Xbox! I would recommend this headset as a worthy replacement for the standard Microsoft Xbox Live communicator headset, or you could purchase a Hip Gear brand headset ($10 cheaper), ditch the actual headset and use the adapter.
