5 of 5 Great Wireless Adapter for Xbox 360 Wednesday, March 05, 2008
A Gamer from Riverton, Utah
Have been using this adapter over a month now with no problems. It actually seems to have a better reception signal than the laptop that I currently use. Some have reported signal interferences, have not had any of these types of problems. There have been no lag, this is a definite buy for those wishing to utilize wireless capability for the xbox 360.

5 of 5 A must... Sunday, March 02, 2008
A Gamer from Ruston, La
Easy to connect, his is a must to have. No more wires running across the floors to the modem to trip or hook up when wanting to play games on line and the best is someone else can use their computer on line at the same time.

5 of 5 Works great, no effort Thursday, February 21, 2008
A Gamer from Sacramento, CA
Didn't take much effort at all to get it set up and I have fairly tough security setup on my router. Sure, you could get a cheaper third party bridge adapter but this is sleek, attaches right to the back of the xbox and there's no extra cords to worry about. Worth the money.

It took less than 10 minutes to get this up and running on a secure network. I have cable modem/wireless gateway. Plugged the adapter into the Xbox, went to system page and entered in the system security info and that was it.

5 of 5 Easiest way to connect your Xbox 360 over WiFi Tuesday, December 18, 2007
A Gamer from Denver, CO
Got this item to clean up all the "junk" around the Xbox 360 console. This item fits the bill perfectly. It tucks away nicely behind the console and connects via the USB port on the back, with no additional power needed. Configuration is via the Console... just configure it to match the security settings on your Access Point. It is a bit pricey, but unless you can get a network cable to your console, it is the neatest way to connect.

5 of 5 Best Little Device Ever Friday, November 30, 2007
fattybum@optonline.net from Elmont, New York
This is the best item I've purchase from buy.com. My son took over my TV in the basement since Xbox 360 needs a direct connect. But with this wireless adapter he has moved back to his room and I can now watch my football games in peace again. The xbox wireless adapter is very good. My router is in the basement and my son's room is on the second floor. Since we have connect the adapter to his xbox he has never had any problems with any connection to the internet. 5 star (*****) product.

4 of 5 Wireless is required Thursday, November 29, 2007
A Gamer from Indianapolis, IN
Not a cheap option, but required if your system is not near your router. Easy to install and use. Make sure you apply WEP settings to match your router settings. Makes XBOX Live even more enjoyable and user friendly from anywhere in the house.

5 of 5 Xbox 360 wireless adapter Thursday, November 29, 2007
smoobies from Ney Jersey
The xbox 360 wireless adapter works great. I have had no main issues with this product. Before I bought this adapter I had been using a bridge Wep device which took a computer savy person like myself and a linksys tech to configure it. Anybody could install this device assusuming, they have the right configuration on their wireless router. I purchased it from buy.com because it was $10 cheeper minus the $30 off for signing up for the card. I'd do it again. Great experience and a great deal. Thanks buy.com

5 of 5 Perfect Fit Wednesday, November 28, 2007
Glenn from San Antonio, TX
Setting up the Xbox 360 WiFi adapter was almost as easy as plugging it in. The only slowdown was setting my (very long) WPA passphrase using the Xbox 360 controller; a USB keyboard made it easier. One other issue was figuring out what the MAC address of the adapter was-it was NOT the address printed on the device itself, but apparently the same as the ethernet card's. Using the 360's network setup features, I figured it out, and it's been great!

5 of 5 Solid Xbox 360 Accessory Thursday, August 30, 2007
RMO from Minneapolis, MN
Great performance and easy setup and use right out of the box. I have had it connected for over a month now without any issues. Only gripe would be that they had a version in black to match the 360 Elite, but I guess it does not really matter because it clips onto the back of the device and all you see is the antenna.

3 of 5 Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter Is Good Tuesday, August 14, 2007
Steve from Port Jervis, NY
With the recent acquisition of a wireless modem, I figured I would give the Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter a chance rather than trying to run hundreds of length of wire through my house. At first, it was difficult to get it up and running. Eventually, it started working correctly. I must suggest to keep your Xbox relatively close to the modem. I have my upstairs in my bedroom, while the modem is downstairs, and this creates some trouble. It also doesn't help having wireless phones in the house. When it works it is great, but when it's not working, it can be come very aggravating.

5 of 5 Works great, a snap to install Monday, August 13, 2007
John from Tucson, Arizona
I had been worried that where I had my xbox 360 would be a dificult place to get a good signal. This Wi-fi adapter has worked without a hitch. Set-up was a breeze. It has added a whole new demension to my use of the Xbox.

5 of 5 Great Product Thursday, July 12, 2007
TahitiDave from Middlebury, CT
I replaced my Linksys wireless with this product and saw a nice improvement of signal continuity (no disconnects). I added a USB extention cord to position the device in the optimum spot with the best reception. Also, since it's powered by USB, it's only using electricity when the Xbox is running. Excellent product!

5 of 5 Plug N Play Monday, July 02, 2007
A Gamer from New Jersey
Plug it in (fits on the back and looks like its a part of the unit). Configure it on the Xbox menus. Start playing. I'm using 802.11b and have the router 20 feet away. Works fine but the voice sometimes get's garbled for a second. I probably need to upgrade to wireless G. Purchased because a switch blew up and took out my NIC on the Xbox.

5 of 5 Wireless 360 adapter is great! Wednesday, April 25, 2007
roncervantez@gmail.com from Vallejo, CA
This adapter takes a little work setting up. You need to find your WEP Key on your wireless router to get it setup and the rest is automatic. You will not lose any speed or performance with this adapter. My XBOX 360 is on the other side of the house away from my computer and I do not have any issues with connectivity or speed.

4 of 5 Wireless setup was easy to bad my XBOX died the ne Sunday, April 01, 2007
A Gamer from New York, New Yotk
Setup was easy and it worked fine with WEP turned on to 64bit. To bad that my xbox 360 died the next day and I had to send it in for repairs. Xbox's are a piece of crap, you figure a multi-billon dollar company like microsoft can make a product that doest break only 3 months after owning it. But I still like it better than PS3

4 of 5 Nice to be wireless, but no security? Monday, March 19, 2007
DSixsmith from Livermore, CA
Trying to go all wireless in my house, we bought this adapter for our Xbox 360. I have a Linksys wireless cable gateway (WCG200) with 64-bit WEP and MAC address filtering turned on. I had a heck of a time trying to get the Xbox to join the network, using static or dynamic addressing. After a few hours of changing settings and testing, the only way that I was able to get the Xbox connected was to turn off the WEP encryption, and make modifications to the rest of my computers accordingly. There were also a couple of ports that I had to forward on my router to get on Xbox Live. Now the only security that I have is MAC address filtering, which makes me a little uneasy. Other than that, it has been nice not to have to run a 50' ethernet cable through the house, although it was a bit faster having it hardwired. I'd still rather have it wireless and deal with the minor issues than running cables everywhere. I doubt I would have been able to get it running on my network if I weren't an IT guy. But then again, I probably wouldn't have security enabled in the first place.

4 of 5 Perfect for wireless gaming Wednesday, March 07, 2007
proctorbc2005@yahoo.com from Jacksonville, NC
Even tho this product is a "little" expensive, I can not get over how easy set-up was, and how well it performs. Now I can play my 360 on my 62" flat screen, which is 60 feet from my router. Signal strength is pegged out. Streaming media is a little slower, that with LAN cable, but I will sacrifice the extra speed for the larger TV. Online game performance was not degraded. Great product, great price, super fast shipping, thanks buy.com.

4 of 5 XBOX 360 Wireless USB Adapter Thursday, February 15, 2007
LM from Boise, ID
The Xbox 360 wireless usb network adapter is very easy and simple to use. Just plug it into the back of the xbox 360 and then you are pretty much good to go. The only problem I had was that when I would play online no one else could use the internet. Anyways, the adapter is great and shows almost no lag. Great buy if you can find it on sale. Works great with my linksys router.
