Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter (Wi-Fi) - B4B-00009

received, worked the first day, then the next day blinked red. Had to return it. Been waiting a few days hopefully it will come soon, cuz I just signed up for xbox live.

Plug and Play!!! Simple! Simple! Simple! Plug and forget about it. Need Internet and wirless router to be able to join the three to get online.

After having order this product delivery was fast. Having already had one on my other xbox, i already knew how to install but for those that do not, the product was extremely easy to install and works well. Other than that, everything was good.

What more can I say other than it does what it's supposed to. I've had it for a couple of months now and have never had any problems with it whatsoever. The set up is easy, if I can do it then anyone can, and after that you can just forget about it because it's automatic. All you have to is make sure that you have a good wireless router and a good internet connection, those are the only things that'll stand in your way of being able to enjoy Xbox live (which is a hell of a lot better than the Playstation network ever will be).

Even though the wireless adadpter is slightly pricy, but I think it's really convineant!! All you have to do is plug it in and you can have wireless connection!!!

I am using it with a Linksys WRT54G running 'Tomato' firmware (128 bit WEP). No special configuration on the router. Works great... no issues whatsoever. Very easy to set up.

Easy to configure and setup. Good wireless speed. Be aware that this adapter will not work (as mentioned by an earlier reviewer) with WPA2 security. WPA2 is a newer, more secure wireless security standard. I had to downgrade my internal security to WPA (you can also use WEP) to be able to connect this adapter to my network.

At the time, this was the cheapest place to buy this product. Works great, seems to have sped up my internet connection to my x-box. Before i had a long cable running through my living room to kitchen. So obviously it looks quite a bit nicer too. Only took about 30 sec to plug into the back of xbox, and about 5 min to program to router. Very easy steps.

Be advised if you are using WPA2 wireless security this adapter will not pick up your network. You must be using WPA or WEP if you want to use this adapter. Other than that all you have to do is plug it in and configure it and it works great.

Purchase this wireless adaptor for my Xbox 360 to replace a CAT5 cable. I had strung the cable across 2 rooms to connect my box to Window Media Center. Did not have a cable outle by our large screen TV. Use this adapter to watch "Netflix Instant Que movies" on my Xbox 360. (Downloaded "OnPlay" software from internet to connect to my PC's Windows Media Center - works as an extender). Works perfectly!! I can still download Netfix movies in 30-40 seconds (yes SECONDS). Also we can watch "HULU" under the OnPlay on the Xbox 360. And I have eliminated the CAT5 Cable. And all at a good price from buy.com

The best price I coud find. The XBox put me right into the correct configuration area. I enabled SSID on my wireless and saw my network ID. Once I got the MAC ID to enter in the routers MAC filter, I was connected. The hardest part was finding the MAC ID. It has been working fine ever since.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. I had an old xbox and its wireless adapter, that was supposed to work with the 360, but it didn't. Plugged this little guy in and it worked like a champ. Never loses signal, fast, great. Highly recommended.

The network adapter was extremely easy to install--all you need to know is your network key. Plugs right into the back of the XBox. Good signal even one floor away from our router. I'd buy it again!

This adapter is a solid product and works great. It is easy to set up and configure via XBOX Live. The connection is very stable. While a bit pricey (Microsoft) BUY.COM has the best price around for it so I think I got a great product at a great price!

I had read reviews that this adapter was simple to use and had great connection, but I didn't believe it until I actually received the device. And not only is it easy to install, it sits neatly attached to the back of your XBOX 360 as a small item that will not fall off easily. The setup was simply plugging it into the back of the 360 and going to the Network Connections setting on my 360 to setup the wireless and it worked! Even on a "low" connection setting as it said the connection was still fast enough to play online. It is a little pricey, but if you cannot plug into the wall it is absolutely necessary to enhance your xbox 360 experience.

Plugged it into my Xbox 360 and it was working within minutes. I went through the setup (and it took a minute to find that on the Xbox), entered my security code from my wireless router (WPA2), and was connected in no time. I use an Apple Airport Extreme - N, and I had no problems. As others have stated, it seems a bit pricey given you can get full routers for a lot less (though I will say that Buy.com's price is a lot better than any retail store). I guess that's just the Microsoft Premium. Price keeps it from being a 5. Sidenote: My primary reason for getting it was to stream Netflix to my Xbox. My first attempt was bumby, because Netflix said my connection was not fast enough. I think the issue was with netflix as I am within 20ft of the router and normally get 8MB down speed. My second attempt a few days later was more positive (connection strength had increased, according to them). I think they may have added more servers.

Setup was simple enough, but when it came time to connect it was unable to assign the proper IP settings onto the XB360. I need to do a complete reboot of the router in order to get it working. Everything works fine now.
