4.3 of 5 New system model, incredible HD picture, best game 5/15/2009

Resident Evil 4 was my favorite game for the PS2 so I just had to have this system. I bought an XBOX because my gamer buddies said it was better than PS3 in terms of games and graphics. I haven't seen anything that's refuted this.
I also bought this model because it guarantees the newest parts so I won't get the dreaded "red ring of death" everyone complains about. So far so good.
So far I've been playing old XBOX games in HD quality which has been awesome. The new XBOX 360 games graphics are just breathtaking. I had an old DVI (Digital Video Interface) which was the predecessor to HDMI. I found a GE adapter that allowed me to hook up the HDMI cable to the DVI connector on my TV. Works like a champ. I had no idea my TV could provide that good a picture.
The final thing was the red color of the console. I thought that I'd dislike the color and considered a normal black Elite system. However, now that I own the system I know that the red is actually more of a dark maroon which looks really cool compared to the boring black and white consoles that are out there. You won't regret it.
The free shipping and no tax of Buy.com cannot be beat. Buy the system as soon as you can. You don't have much time before you'll have to deal with expensive eBay dealers.

Great took 5 minutes to hook up, little extra time to play online, overall lots of fun, now just have to get more games for the 360, red console and controller is cool, wish I had two controllers with it, gonna have to buy another.

Pros:
Pre-order available. Price and shipping choices were reasonable. Easy shopping experience.
Cons:
Thin cardboard box with little shipping paper inside for protection. Preferred a thicker cardboard box with bubble wrap inside.

I did not have either PS3 or XB360 before buying this product. I used to be a PS fun since I played all the RE series on the PS/PS2 platform. But after I watched the comparison video of the PS3 version and XB360 version of this game, I've decided to buy the RE5 XB360 bundle because 1) there is not PS3 bundle for this game, unlike in Japan where they have 2) the XB360 version of this game has better graphic in my opinion.
