Bought this to replace the bad hard drive that came with my system. Works great but still wish the one that came with my system worked in the first place. The the file transfer software worked well also copied everything that wasn't corrupt on my old drive. Was this review helpful?

The 120Gb HDD is almost essential in todays day and age. I had to keep deleting stuff from my puny 20Gb drive that I didn't want to delete simply because I wanted to try a new demo. Transferring files from your old drive is easy too. It even comes with the transfer cable. The only thing is that the drive comes preloaded with a bunch of demos and videos that you probably don't want or have already seen. Was this review helpful?

Hard drive works great added a lot of storage space to my aging Xbox 360. Transferring my data was easy but if you purchase it make sure you follow directions. If you don't follow the order it states you can erase all your data. Was this review helpful?

This product did what it said it will do:
Transfer data from my old 20 GB Xbox 360 drive to the new 120 GB drive.
While anything over $50 is expensive for a 120 GB hard drive, the proprietary nature of this product forces us to pay through the nose.
The kit includes the 120 GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive, setup disc for the 360, and data transfer cable.
The instructions were clear. The data transfer process took nearly 2 hours.
Upon completion of the data transfer the Xbox 360 notified me that:
'some data was corrupt and could not be transferred', but after checking the system memory I could not find any data missing. So far everything is working perfectly. No problems.
To be sure I didn't lose anything important, I copied my most important data & game saves on an xbox 360 memory unit before the data transfer process.
I did not need to restore anything from the memory unit, as the data transfer process went well. Was this review helpful?

If any of you gamers out there need more memory for your Xbox 360, then this product is for you! The massive amount it holds is incomparable to what the Xbox 360 currently comes with. And it's extremely easy to transfer your data from the old memory to the new larger memory since everything is included in the box. My 14 year old was able to do it all himself without any assistance from an adult.
