My Elvis did not work without the 8 D batteries. Manual says to use AC adapter. AC Adapter only worked when batteries are in! Not loud enough for the party. I tried external speakers, mono and stereo plug and only got static, and Elvis stopped working! I turned off music for a while to give Elvis a chance to be heard. Everyone at the party had to check out Elvis, but complained 'What is he saying?'. I called tech support. Got right throu to thier answering machine. Its been 8 days and still have not heard back! I actually ordered this to be part of my Halloween animation display. My wife thinks it's so realistic at times that it's creepy. Everything works as advertised. The one thing I can't get it to do is move its mouth to the sound of my voice through the microphone, but that's not a feature listed in the manual anyway. Other than that, a great addition to anybody's collection of Elvis stuff. Was this review helpful?

This is a neat novelty item and for the price works fairly decent. We're gonna put it in the family game room. It comes with one cartridge which is what gives Elvis is songs and dialogue. If you want him to say more you must purchase additional cartridges sold seperatly. Was this review helpful?
