5 of 5 Very fun and durable toy Wednesday, December 31, 2008 Kevin from Ohio
My wife got me this for Christmas...yes, still a kid at heart! I am very pleased with the Dragonfly so far. If you have a big room, you can probably fly it inside. But I had had trouble trying to fly it inside like the demo videos show. I have had a lot of fun flying it outside though on a couple of very calm days. ANY breeze over a couple mph is too much. But flying it in my backyard has been a lot of fun. The body is made of foam which seems like cheap construction at first. But this makes the toy durable because when it crashes even from high altitudes (I have had mine 40 or 50' in the air), it can't develop enough velocity to damage itself. To fly it, just give it a toss like a paper airplane with about half a throttle. I have had success getting it to climb by turning a slow circle while gaining altitude. Overall, I'm really very happy. After crashing a toy helicopter and wrecking it beyond repair in less than an hour, this toy is a lot more fun. Was this review helpful?
