The group's sixth studio album continues their trend of dramatic, intense ensemble work that veers from sweeping lyricism to thunderous staccato riffing. Slayer's Dave Lombardo contributes drum work, upping the intensity considerably. Other guests include vocalists Christina Scabia, Corey Taylor, and Till Lindermann from Rammstein (who sings a German-language version of David Bowie's "Heroes"). Overall, WORLDS COLLIDE is a satisfying head-warp from these genre-smashing Swedes.
