The final season of The New Adventures of Wonder Woman finds the heroine (played by Lynda Carter) continuing to use her superpowers -- not to mention her magic lasso and her golden bullet-deflecting bracelets -- to fight for freedom and justice on behalf of the Inter-Agency Defense Command. Working hand in glove with her is her mortal boss -- and erstwhile boyfriend -- Steve Trevor Jr. (Lyle Waggoner). As both her "real" self and in the mortal guise of Diana Prince, Wonder Woman encounters a number of hair-raising adventures during the series'' terminal season. Episodes include "My Teenage Idol is Missing," "The Deadly Sting," "Disco Devil," "Spaced Out," "The Boy Who Knew Her Secret" and "Phantom of the Roller Coaster."

Lynda Carter became an immediate superstar in 1976 when she stepped into the costume of comic book superhero Wonder Woman. The live-action adventure, based on the original comic book series, was originally set during World War II, but was moved to a modern setting for its second and third seasons. A former princess-turned-superhero, Wonder Woman (with the help of government agent Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner) uses her magic belt, bulletproof bracelets, and magical lasso to bring about harmony and peace. Season Three boasts the series wildest battles against evil forces, including someone transported from the year 2155, a bodiless brain, and a sculptor whose artworks assist him in his fights. This release contains the third and final season of the popular series, which became a fan favorite despite its short run thanks in part to syndication.
