| | | | Product Guides | | | | The Belkin Wireless G Router lets users share files and a broadband Internet connection among their computers-without using networking cables. It features 802.11g technology that makes accessing files and networked peripherals-such as hard drives, printers, CD-ROMs, and DVDs-easier than ever. 802.11g technology provides you with networking speeds nearly five times faster than the current Wi-Fi (802.11b) standard. An integrated, 4-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch also allows you to connect wired computers to the network. 802.11g technology is the easiest wireless network to implement. The Router uses the wireless 802.11g 2.4GHz standard to offer you 400 feet of wireless coverage. 802.11g technology is backward compatible with the 802.11b Wi-Fi networking standard, so it allows you to implement faster wireless technologies in combination with existing 802.11b Wi-Fi networks.

5 of 5 Belkin Wireless Router Thursday, January 17, 2008 A Customer from Phoenix, AZ
For the money, an excellent deal. Very easy (for this non-computer geek) to get up and running. Had a Belkin before, but after several years, it ceased to work. I knew the product was a good one, so I bought another. Much less expensive than a linksys and does the same job. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Easy to install wireless router Friday, November 30, 2007 Marco from San Francisco CA
I purchased in the past many wireless routers from different vendors. Some of them can be tricky to install when it comes to security features. This router is extremelly easy to set up and offers a nice html interface for advanced settings that is quite easy to use. I love it. It has been working with no problems for 2 years now and I just installed it in a friend house and it is working great. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great budget router!! Sunday, November 25, 2007 A Customer from San Antonio, Texas
I got this router for my girlfriend's apartment complex and have been very satisfied with it. I have a VoIP phone at her house that connects to my office and with me turning off the firewall the phone worked just fine. I didn't have to do any port forwarding or anything so that is a major plus.
The browsing speed on the Internet is also very fast and the range is great. If you are looking for a good router for your house, this is the one you should get. The price can't be beat and it will last for a long time. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Fast easy setup Monday, September 10, 2007 Hiroki from Mammoth Lakes, California
I bought 8 of these routers for rental condos. Set up was a breeze, took me less than 5 minutes after I installed the first. I hate equipment that make you install applications to set them up. I didn't have to install a thing. Just plug in to the wall outlet, modem, then computer, and you're done! I did go into the settin |
