I am very satisfied with this antenna. There is some interference on some stations especially when it is very windy outside. Without the wind I usually have no problem at all. I am tired paying cable more and more money. This is the only solution and I hope more people take advantage of FREE TV. Was this review helpful?

It works. I gets reception. It would be nice if it didn't need daily adjusting. A better design would have it on a tall stand with a swivel base. It was just okay for me, dude. It didn't rock my world. Was this review helpful?

I am within ten miles of the tv broadcast towers so this
antenna works great for me. My only quibble is that it
looks out of place in a Victorian house. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Decent antenna for the price. Saturday, March 21, 2009 Paul from Unionville, CT
The antenna works well bringing in 7-8 channels that I couldn't get without it including HD channels from 13-30 miles away. It is directional, so you have to play with it a bit, but it does what it is supposed to do. Was this review helpful?

My local high-def stations are all within 60 compass degrees, and the farthest away is 30 miles away. I hoped that the indoor antenna would be sufficient to pull them all in, but was worried that this antenna was too 'uni-directional.' It is not. It easily pulls them all in, plus some that are much farther away. It's easy to assemble, set up, and use. It's relatively low profile, and isn't too much of an eye sore (for me). A great solution if you live near the desired signals. Was this review helpful?

If you have to use an indoor antenna, this one is the best. With this antenna, my stations no longer fade in and out. Also I it was able to pickup 6 more channels than my rabbit ears. I read all the reviews; I called Winegard; I finally bought one and I very happy. If your rabbit ears works poorly, this one can improve your reception. I don't think there is a better indoor antenna. Picks up stations over 30 miles away. You cannot beat that kind of performance. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Works for me Saturday, January 24, 2009 A Customer from New Jersey
After reading multiple reviews I thought I'd take a chance with this one even though I felt the price was a bit on the higher side. I can see how assembling the antenna could be challenging for some, thanks to the poor diagrams and instructions provided with the kit. However, once it was assembled, I was delighted to see that I could finally get PBS on channel 13.1 (This channel eluded me with the rabbit ears I got from Radio Shack) While I get almost all the digital channels in my area with the antenna pointing in the North East direction, CBS on channel 2.1 eludes me. I really was hoping to get all channels with an antenna pointing to only one direction. One piece of advice, do spend some time playing around and pointing the antenna in different directions as you tune your TV. It is well worth the time and effort. Now, I get crystal clear digital reception and am well on my way of getting rid of cable tv and saving a few bucks each month. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Indoor Antenna I've tried Wednesday, January 21, 2009 A Customer from Los Angeles
I live in a crowded metropolitan area, near hills, on hte first floor of an apartment building, and I have very poor Over-the-Air HD reception. I have tried five other amplified (powered) indoor antennas and this is the best one so far. HD Channels that were previously choppy come in clear now. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works well Tuesday, January 06, 2009 Just the facts from Phoenix, AZ
My grandmother who lives in a retirement community in Union City, California (near Alverado-Niles and Dyer)needed an antennea for the Feb 2009 HDTV changeover. Because of limited retirement income, satellite or cable were not an option. Roof mounting was out of the equation as well. Tried a couple of RCA's, cheap and pricey, from the local Best Buy etc. with no luck. Each required gramdma to get out of her chair and respostion the antennea depending on what channel she wanted to watch. Not exactly what you want to do when you are 87. With the Winegard SS-3000 its no longer an issue with it setting on top of the TV at about 4ft of the ground. Works for the VHF and UHF HDTV signals in the San Francisco Bay area. Note I did have to assemble for grandma - took about 5 minutes. Only downside is that I paid more then the current price from another e-tailor Was this review helpful?

i have tried 8 different powerful antennas but finally found this antenna.. i was surprised it picked up pretty good receptions and got even more channels. if i can get a better reception and many more channels from indoors then how about outdoors... Well i did try that and i can say that i should have done that before.. A heck lot many channels and excellent reception wow.. it can with-stand rain & snow.. installation needed more logical thinking because i wasn't following the installation guide..
but I'm amazed how good this product is even though geographically my location isn't good for any decent digital broadcast or even to speak analog broadcast too... i get close to 35 channels crystal clear HD without pix elation.. Was this review helpful?
