There is bad smell with those cables. Cheap materials and poor built quality. Smell like toxic plastic. The rechargeable batteries within the package for Wii remote could not hold the power. If I put there for a week without using it. The battery run out.

Everything works out of the box. Good spare accessories to have. I have the set came with wii in my apartment and this one in my parents place, so I carry wii console only when I go from one place to the other.

Good product for the money. I purchased this, so I could move the wii to another location without disconnecting all accessories. The first kit I received did not work properly (sensor bar) so I had to return it for replacement. Second set works fine.

I've purchased this item few weeks ago to add cables connections on additional TV so that I don't have to remove all cable connections when moving Wii from one TV to another. Now instead, I used it in the minivan. Recently we made long road trip and my 7 years old daughter loved playing Wii games while on the road. She get bored watching movie all the time while on the road, but with Wii there was no problem. All items in this kit worked flawless. The quality of product is as good as original. I highly recommend this to those who are as lazy as me who doesn't want to put effort in keep switching cable connections.

Thus far i have only tired out the the HD component cable and Charger docking kit. Both seem low in quality. I had to remove the sticker on the back of battery pack, and nudged the steel connectors a bit on the controller back cover to get the battery to charge. Every time i need to charge the batter, I end up playing with dock and controller to sit just right otherwise it does not charge. HD component cables work fine, but i see some horizontal artifacts on the top (<1 inch wide) and the bottom (<1 inch wide). Some times it seems I'm getting a letter box effect. on the 2 horizontal lines (top and bottom) are generally black with some rainbow effects. However the image on the border of the these horizontal lines is not smooth either.

I bought this with the hopes to move my Wii from the living room to the bedroom. It did not disappoint. I've used all components except for the regular video cable as I am using the component cable for the bedroom. Two things: 1) It would have been nice to have to set's of batteries so that I could eliminate the need for a different set of rechargables. 2) This will be a very good value assuming I get the rebate in the mail. Rebates can be difficult to deal with, but I will update this when and if I receive it... -Mario

I bought 2 of these kits for my Motorhome. The TVs are buried in cabinets and I didn't want to have to try to connect/disconnect the wires every time. I'm using the component video cables and everything works as well as the original Wii stuff. The only problem is Buy.com only shipped me 1 of the sensor bars. Buy.com says to go to Cables Unlimited and of course Cables Unlimited says to go to Buy.com to get it resolved. I'm still sorting that out. The product is good quality. I noticed that the price went up considerably since I bought them though (almost double). :(
