5 of 5 Very pleased, especially for the price. Friday, April 24, 2009 A Gamer from Simi Valley, CA
I bought this as a cheap, throw-away second guitar for RB2 so we could play guitar and bass at the same time or duel against each other. I didn't expect it to perform as well as it has. I played string bass (the big, stand-up thing) growing up and prefer using this over the Stratoacaster when I am playing bass, and although I generally prefer the Strat for guitar, the Nyko is great on guitar, too (note: it doesn't have the solo frets). It is definitely a really good, inexpensive second guitar. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Favorite controller for Guitar Hero World Tour Monday, March 16, 2009 Marc from River Grove
Although this doesn't have all the accoutrements of the Activision controller that came with GHWT, like the tap bar, wider strum bar or a seemingly more solid realistic appearence,it does do one thing really well, it works. The GHWT controller became a worthless piece of crap shortly after its initial use. It skips when using the strum bar. Why Activision would "cheap out" on using an inferior micro switch so desperately needed to effectively play the game successfully evades me. I've read alot of online complaints about this problem already and I don't think Activision is doing much if anything about it. This could hurt them in sales because kids might give up playing this fun game thinking it's just too hard. Now how stupid is that? This "knockoff" alone has helped me in 2 months go from "beginner" to now tackling some of the "hard" song versions which as anyone knows who loves this game, can be a real challenge. Most of my solos are now at 100% (even getting used to incorporating the dreaded "orange" or 5th button, especially when soloing). I purchased this from Buy.com for a very small price with free shipping. In fact, I could buy three of these for the cost of the Activision controller making it a "best buy in price and quality". I did have a compatibility problem with the first Nyko controller, but sent it back and am more than pleased with this one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome Wednesday, January 21, 2009 Guitar.guy from Chicago, IL
Got the Frontman to play bass on the Guitar Hero World Tour. It is flawless. Slightly smaller but it does not affect play. Great value. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good for the low cost Thursday, January 01, 2009 A Gamer from Arlington Heights, IL
I got two of these at Amazon for $7 each and for that price, they are a great deal. The guitar is not "cheap" but it is not as good as the guitars that come with the games. We have had no issues with the two that we got.
I am happy with my purchase. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Frontman Guitar - WII love it Monday, November 10, 2008 TerraX from Sylvan Lake, MI
Does a more than adequare job for Guitar Hero World Tour. Neck is about an inch shorter and the strum key is about 20% narrower than the one that came with the game, but the response of the keys are just as good and it didn't effect my game play at all. Great value for what I paid. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good value Monday, May 19, 2008 A Gamer from Queen Creek, AZ
For a 3rd party guitar controller, it is a good value. It works just as well as the original and also looks great too! Was this review helpful?

The guitar works beautifully and the price was awsome. It took about 2 months to get it but well worth the wait. Was this review helpful?
