5 of 5 Audio Defective - Had to Replace Friday, January 18, 2008 A Gamer from Oviedo, FL
The left (white) audio connector was dead on arrival. All other connectors were functional - right (red) audio and component video had output. Of course, no stereo/surround sound possible.
Emailed Intec customer service and returned the entire cable to Intec for replacement (shipped at my expense). Received new cable via FedEx in about 10 days at no cost. New cable is 100% functional - stereo/surround output and component video superb.

This cable does exactly what it's supposed to, which is great! Previously, I wasn't able to connect my Wii to the component input of my TV but now I can. It's a terrific invention, this cable.
The Good: it works really well and looks sexy.
The Bad: you really need a Wii, since you can't use it to connect other appliances. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Saved money, and works perfectly. Wednesday, November 28, 2007 smak from Irvine, CA
These are cheaper AND higher quality than the component cables that Nintendo sells. Amazing deal at buy.com! Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 No Optical Included Tuesday, August 28, 2007 Wii on 100" Screen from Omaha, NE
First and foremost - no optical digital connection is included so just forget it. Looked up on the web about digital out on a Wii and turns out they were planning to but never did include a true digital audio out. There are no parts from the manufacturer (who doesn't respond to emails or phone calls) available to fix this problem.
Second, the end connectors are a little large for connecting to standard receiver / tv RCA spacing. Not a concern for the stereo connection but for component, it shoves the red and green outward.
Otherwise, the picture is very sharp although i wish there were an antialiasing for the wii. Sound is standard analog but surround sounds pretty good. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 Desciption is incorrect Wednesday, August 15, 2007 Erik from Reston, VA
The description of this item says it has an optical digital audio connection, but the only audio connections are standard stereo left and right. If you look closely at the picture that is also what is shown. Buy.com customer service was less than helpful, and I decided to keep it rather than risk sending it back and getting the same item in return. They could not even match the buy.com SKU # to a a manufacturer model #! The video looks good, and also the cable I got is actually white (if you care about the color). Was this review helpful?
