The supplied lighter plug was miss-labeled (Red/Black)which blew the car fuses.
Swapped the color coded heat shrink (red for black) and it works fine...Red always goes to the center of the plug. Was this review helpful?

The unit works well enough but it has a very loud fan. The last one I had from Cobra had a much quieter fan that was also temperature sensitive so it only came on when needed. This one is constantly on. Also, the power switch is blocked if you want to plug in brick adapters (cell phone, battery charger, etc) and they can turn off the power switch if pushed in too far. Overall OK, but would look at others next time.

I use this to run my kid's laptop in the car. It draws about 250 watts so this inverter is plenty powerful. My old inverter was noisy and finally fried. This one is much quieter and so far very reliable. Was this review helpful?
