This review is in response to the other review posted on this site. It is true the drive is recertified. What is not correct is that we do not state so. We clearly advertise that this is a recertified drive. So YES!!! We are Centrix International selling a Recertified Hard Drive with Manufacturer warranty. We are clear about what we sell. Please take the time to read the comments in Our listing it is the second word there all in caps.

If you purchase this drive from Centrix (through buy.com) IT IS NOT A NEW DRIVE, it is a re-certified drive that does not carry the same warranty. Mine worked for 1 hour and then my hdd controller started reporting errors and my computer started crashing. Western digital said they will warranty my drive for only 112 days. Beware.
