    Have been waiting months for this 1TB monster. Finally got one last night. Quickly ordered another. This is a really tiny drive. Expected it to be as big as all other Passports but is is a lot smaller lenghthwise although a little fatter as it is a 12.5mm not 9.5mm drive. Got a little annoyed at the VCD partition which takes up a little over a half gig but a quick search on the inernet gave me a solution. Simply delete the drive letter and ... no more prompts. It is still there as I think they might have put it in a flash drive but no more annoying prompts to install the back up software. I did have an issue with the supplied Micro B cable. The slightest wiggle made it pop off the drive. A call to WD tech support proved to be a pleasure. Spoke to an intelligent, articulate person who informed me that the correct cable would be shipped out to me promptly. Small price to pay to have the latest and greatest. Drive is lightning fast. Compared it to a 7200rpm smaller drive copying 2GB and it beat it by 20 seconds. Great product with great support.
