    I purchased this 80GB Hard Drive to replace a 20GB Hard Drive on my 5 year old Dell Dimension 4100. Worked like a charm, easy to install (with software downloaded from http://www.westerndigital.com), faster speed (7200 vs. 5400) and quieter than the old Maxtor hard Drive. Great price too.

    I bought this Hard Drive to replace an 8GB original in my 400 MHz Dell so I could scan all my pictures and store/organize them. Once installed this drive is working perfectly. It comes without software and a cable. Just download the Data Lifegaurd Tools v. 11.0 software from http://support.wdc.com and use your existing cable. Install the software and print the included instructions before physically installing the drive.
