Needed a new internal hard drive to replace my old one that was dying. Arrived quickly and in great shape. It does come OEM, which it states in the title description, but if your computer is already running on SATA connections and you need it replace a current drive than this is perfect. Bought this HD to upgrade my existing system. Only problem is that it did not come with a SATA cable, which delayed my installation. I discovered that computers with SATA drives provide extra power connectors, because they are "daisy-chained". Sata cables are not - you need one per drive. Once I purchased a cable, installation was a snap and the drive works great. Be sure to check your computer to see if you need a "right hand" or "left hand" SATA cable (depends on the direction the cable runs from the drive to the mother board). Was this review helpful?
