5 of 5 Great Drive Wednesday, March 04, 2009 TiggoBitties from Dallas, TX
Quiet, fast, looks great. Drive doesn't get hot at all and it's still silent. Soooo much better than Lacie. What a deal! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Nearly ideal Tuesday, January 27, 2009 A Customer from Minneapolis, MN
It's quiet, it works like a champ. I just wish I could shut it off when I shut down my computer. The power button doesn't work, so to shut the light off the drive, I have to unplug it.
Otherwise, it's a sweet little drive. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Seems good, but I'll reserve judgement. Thursday, January 08, 2009 RS2 from Oklahoma
Pros: Very quiet. Seamless integration with TimeMachine. Good price for features. FireWire 800 is snappy.
Cons: Capacity Gauge is not compatible with TimeMachine, Tends to lock up every few days. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great value & it's fast Monday, April 28, 2008 Peter from Norwood, MA
First the price was way beyond what the competitors are offering. Second the speed of the hard drive and the ease of use was well worth the purchase. Highly recommended. Was this review helpful?

It's quiet, doesn't get hot, and is easy to use. I use it as a back up for my LaCie Porsche 500gb. I transferred about 100gb of music and it took about 2 hours and change with firewire 400.
It's really smart and turns on with your computer and turns off when you unplug it.
It's plug-and-play. There's no software you need to install. I like it and would buy another one
Also, buy.com is apparently the best place to buy it. They really have the lowest prices. And sometimes they knock off a few dollars at check out. Was this review helpful?
