My experience with earlier versions of external drives was that they were hard to set up and operate. This one operated right out of the box with no problems. Includes a free trial of Memeo software ($30 to purchase) which backs up seamlessly--nothing to configure, set or struggle with.

Ease of installation: It was easy to install and no glitches. Included software: I didn't care for the backup software included and preferred to use my own backup procedures. Satisfaction: I was completely satisfied with the drive.
