ordered this drive for my macbook and the shipping was very fast. just got this out of the box and immediately used my disk utility to create two partitions. i set up time machine on one partition and used the other partition for storage (storage formatted as fat32 for use in windows and mac). time machine is backing up right now and the other partition already has files on it! this drive is great! it's "arctic white" color matches my macbook perfectly, it actually looks like it was even manufactured by apple! i would definitely recommend this drive to any user pc or mac! very satisfied customer! I have been looking for a reliable USB 2.0 pocket drive for my MacBook laptop. With the new TimeMachine backup software I needed something to take with me, that needs no power source, that can also carry all of my iTunes files. This drive exceeds my expectations and looks great as I bought a white drive to match the MacBook.
Buy.com came through with all that they said they'd do. I took advantage of their credit card offer getting money off of the price of this drive. I believe I paid around $79 for this terrific drive and got everything as promised.
5 stars for the drive and for Buy.com.

I chose this hard drive because of the convenience of USB power and the size and capacity. The choice of colors and good also helped make a boring product interesting.
The included back-up utility software was very annoying so I just dragged and dropped the relevant folders. I was backing up pics and videos and only one USB is fast so the whole process took 2 days and the drive is only 100MB full. Was this review helpful?
