    I can't testify as to the value or performance of the unit since I could not get it to work with my system. Be aware that as of 12/2008, this unit does not work with the Vista 64 bit Operating System. Check the Western Digital web site before purchasing.

    Since I have got this device I have had complete peace of mind. I am a armature photographer and I have like hundreds of thousands of photos on my laptop. I desperately needed a reliable, failsafe storage device and this is it! Now I can rest assured that all my files are automatically backed up and that my device is fail safe as even if I lose 1 disk I will still have another running! Also the accompanying back software is fantastic, very easy to setup and does the job well int he background. Cons: Cant think of any! but I would say speed due to only USB support. But then again, for the kind of work I do...I really dont care about the speed.
