Features: DVD The story of five friends in Los Angeles whose annual tradition of joining the zany West Hollywood Halloween Parade in outrageous-themed costumes has become local legend. However, this year, as they prepare their costumes, all goes wrong. "...campy fun..." Daniel W. Kelly, DVD Talk "...one of those madcap capers in the vein of things like Rat Race..." Haro Online "...game cast (more Tim Meadows, please) bolstered by some sharp one-liners..." Hazel-Dawn Dumpert, LA Weekly
 Editor's Note
Halloween is approaching and a group of friends, who have been waiting anxiously for this day, are deciding what costumes to wear to the big block party. Dave (Tim Meadows, MEAN GIRLS), Harvey (Barney Cheng), Emme (Alanna Ubach), and Evan (Jason London) come up with the notion to dress up as street hoods, and they descend upon East L.A. to do a little research. There, a misunderstanding concerning Anna Nicole Smith's dog Sweetie Pie leads to a farcical face-off with a crew of drag queens and a trio of female ninjas, and Anna herself must become the unlikely hero of this motley bunch.

| | Professional Reviews | DVD Verdict 8 of 10 Wasabi Tuna might appear to be a cutting-edge independent film glorifying Hollywood's unique cultural atmosphere, but in reality, it's an old-fashioned farce of the highest order. Like the great farce features of stage and early cinema, the movie is made enjoyable through an elaborate setup of misunderstandings, coincidences, and accidents...Everything is rooted in surprise and misdirection in absurd situations. If I were to discuss the plot in any great detail, I'd ruin the spontaneity of the film, and that spontaneity is what makes the film funny. - Aaron Bossig
