A documentary by Monika Treut, WARRIOR OF LIGHT follows activist Yvonne Bezerra de Mello, who dedicated her life to street children living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Beginning in 1993, Bezerra de Mello took it upon herself to help find shelter and schooling for abandoned kids living under vulnerable circumstances.
