Wesley's (James McAvoy) life is over -- his pathetic old one, anyway, and it's all because of a girl. It's a movie that deserves to be hated. It's ultra violent with pretensions of deep social commentary that it never comes close to realizing. Frankly, it's pretty silly and rather than saying "whoa" at some of the visuals, I should have just laughed.
