 Editor's Note
Martial arts star Chuck Norris made his transition to the small screen with the action-packed television drama WALKER TEXAS RANGER. Lasting for nine seasons, the long-running series followed the crime-fighting adventures of tough-guy Texas Ranger Cord Walker (Norris) as he brought justice to the streets of Dallas with a well-placed karate chop to the city's more nefarious criminals. Walker's unconventional interrogation methods clashed with his computer-expert partner Jimmy Trivette (Clarence Gilyard) and the by-the-book county D.A. Alex Cahill (Sheree Wilson), who also functioned as Walker's love interest. This collection presents all 23 episodes of the series' ninth and final season, which began in the wake of Alex and Walker's wedding and ended with the birth of their child. Featuring guest appearances by Ernest Borgnine, Dionne Warwick, Hulk Hogan, Frank Stallone, and Michael Ironside, the final season included such fan-favorite episodes as "Home of the Brave," "White Buffalo," "Faith," "Division Street," "Without a Sound," "Six Hours," and "Legends."

| | Professional Reviews | DVD Verdict 9 of 10 You gotta love a show that has a formula so simple they even know what kind of cars everyone will drive. The "bad guys" drive Fords. "Good guys" who die drive Chevys, and "good guys" who live drive a Dodge. Walker, Texas Ranger spoke a language of cars to impart its message. Cars, and kicks to the throat...Chuck Norris has all the emotion of a baking potato, and has one all-purpose facial expression for every emotion. Yet somehow this works to give the character a mysterious quality; even a heroic one. Walker, Texas Ranger is one of those TV shows that should never work, but somehow is completely riveting and a whole lot of fun to watch. - Brett Cullum
