This cartoon originally surfaced in the early 1970s, and was a bizarre caricature of American family life of the era. The show is based around the Boyles, who consist of a husband and wife and their three children. The Boyles' young nine-year-old, Jamie, displays frighteningly advanced knowledge of economics, while his brother, Chet, sleeps a lot, and his sister, Alice, campaigns for women's rights. Fans of kooky cartoons such as SPACE GHOST and the various offerings of the Adult Swim brand should find plenty of amusement in this complete first season of episodes from WAIT TILL YOUR FATHER GETS HOME.
