5 of 5 A Must Have Wednesday, March 25, 2009 Rick from Las Vegas, NV
Buy.com came through big time with this one! Great tablet. It really speeds my workflow, and is extremely comfortable. 6x11 works perfectly with my 24" monitor. Now I could not work without an Intuos tablet...sucks that the Intuos 4 came out today...now I want it! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product Sunday, September 28, 2008 Jeri Meyer from Lucerne California
Product arrived quickly, price was excellent and it is more than we expected. Big screen to work with and so many options to customize to work with you. The software included with it makes it such a great value. You won't be disappointed! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 My Missing Link Thursday, September 25, 2008 Franksta from Somerset, New Jersey
Customizable with specific programs, quick keys on both sides of the tablet, over 1000 pressure points, could life get any better? I submit that it can not! I have used the mouse a little and it is way smoother than my logtech laser mouse.
This tablet is truly amazing. I can draw in my favorite programs and not have to worry about getting charcoal on my fingers from smudging, or eraser all over my project, or any other annoying mess, there is no clean up!
I know it is not for a lot of people however if you do decide to give it a try be sure that you set up your quick keys for what ever program you bought it for (ie Photoshop).
As soon as I had both sets of quick keys set up, I no longer needed the keyboard! I could use just the table to drawn and create and I think that simple 5-10 minute setup is what stops people from enjoying the tablet.
I loved this tablet so much for my main computer at home I bought a used 4x6 on craigslist for my laptop (which should be in the mail today now). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Top of the Line Sunday, July 06, 2008 A Customer from Va. Beach, VA
This tablet is the best you can get, but you pay dearly for the quality. Wacom tablets are very expensive. I bought the 6 x 11 unit. The software packages thrown in are actually quite useful. The package I received contained Adobe Elements 6.0 (4.0 for Macs) and Corel Painter Essentials 4.0 as well as some additional brush styles and filters. Buy.com offers two versions of what appear to be the same tablet -- one with a part number ending in W, the other with a part number ending in WAC -- and the one ending with WAC was $49 cheaper. Though I suspected that WAC indicated it was the "academic" offering, nowhere in the item's write up is it identified as being the "academic" version. I was disappointed that, when I called them, Buy.com's Customer Service could not tell me why one was $49 cheaper than the other. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Every artist should own one Wednesday, June 25, 2008 Romevjr from South Carolina
Very happy with the tablet. Large work area, works well with my dual screen setup. I also own a M@nhattan tablet and I immediately noticed the difference. The control I have is as good as drawing with a pen and pad. Don't waste your money on other brands, just save your money until you can buy a Wacom tablet. Trust me it is worth the money. It was also cheaper than my school's store had it as well. Very satisfied. It killed me to wait 5 days to get it, but once it got here It was like Santa was on the roof. :) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nothing compares Monday, May 19, 2008 James Fabin from Mission Viejo, CA
I've had knock-off tablets before and after recommendations from friends (and wanting a larger size) I ordered the Wacom Intuos3 6x11. From the moment I unboxed it, I knew this was a far superior tablet then any I had owned. It feels great, works great, and the large area makes using it as a mouse super easy. This thing is solid and well crafted. My other tablets felt cheap, light and did not have the overall quality of the Wacom. The programmable buttons work great, but best of all are the two slide-pads (one on each side) which can be used to scroll. I also find the pen very comfortable and easy to use. I've very happy with my purchase and strongly recommend Wacom over it's competitors. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 What a beautiful tablet Wednesday, December 19, 2007 Ryan from Castle Rock Colorado
This is the second Wacom tablet I've ever owned and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and style of their products. The image does not appear to be this exact tablet, the drawing area is longer. The tablet itself was far larger than I expected it to be, its about the size of our Comcast DVR system. The images of these tablets do them no justice, they are very, very sleek and stylish.
The listing says Photoshop Elements 3, mine had Elements 5.0.2win / 4.0 Mac. It looks like almost all the other software is higher in version number as well.
I've barely had any time to really get to draw on it yet, but the doodling I did do came out wonderfully. The idea of the scroll/zoom touch strips is really awesome. I haven't had the chance to play with the button customization yet, but I hope to find the time soon. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 I shouldn't have put this off for so long... Wednesday, June 13, 2007 Ed from New Jersey
After being in the advertising and design industry for 4 years now, I don't know what I was thinking putting this purchase off for so long. It would have increased my productivity drastically and benefited my design possibilities to no end. It's intuitive, slick, and brings design and photography back into the realm of hands-on creation. I feel more relaxed on my machine when I'm using this, and it was worth every penny. I just should have gotten it sooner. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A Graphic Artists dream Come True Wednesday, June 13, 2007 nick from Slidell, LA
I absolutely love this tablet. I got an amazing deal from buy.com The 6x11 is a perfect size for my desk, I can hold it in my lap, lay it on the table, and let my creativity flow. It speeds up my production at work, and simply put, you can just do so much more with a graphics tablet than you can with a mouse-> "Blah!" If your thinking about buying. Go with your instinct, you wont be disappointed.

enjoy
