Vornado Raspberry Zippy Fan - FA1-0007-38R

At first I was not thrilled with it because the blades are exposed and can easily be hit with something. But the blades are cloth, so no harm done. Now I find that at night I love this thing blowing on my face. It is whisper quiet. And while we have a ceiling fan, I find that I just want it on my face during the cooler months.

This small Zippy fan is amazing. It not only quickly cools down an overheated notebook, it is super quiet. The best part is that if you accidentally touch the fan blades on full speed you do not get injured or cut. Heat is what destroys the internal components of computers. I put the notebook on a Rolodex metal vented grate laptop stand and run the Zippy fan from behind. The notebook stays super cool with no noise. My sister said she thinks Zippy fan is great and also uses it to keep herself cool while cooking or blow drying her hair. I'm hoping they come out with a battery operated Zippy fan.

Purchased this fan for my wife to sit at her station in the salon. It is quiet and makes just enough air movement. Several customers have made comments about how cute it is. So, it is a hit with her and her clients. This fan is priced right, stylish, and functional.

This was such a great purchase, it is quiet, small footprint, and looks really cool. Considering its size, it puts out plenty of air. Best of all, the cloth blades are childproof. We have a 5 year old in the house and he liked it so much I had to get him one! I'd like to get more, but only the raspberry red is available here cheaply. I'd sure like to get the other colors, if we could get the good Buy.com price!

This is nice look, working well for a month and now, no noise and very cool for my room.
