Unlike Rock Giants, Vol. 1, this disc boasts a track list full of songs that live up to the title. Argent's "Hold Your Head Up." Giant rocker. Cheap Trick's "I Want You to Want Me." Giant rocker. Boston's "Peace of Mind." Giant rocker. And so on. There isn't a weak track here, only giant rockers. Sadly there are only ten of them and the packaging looks like something a colorblind ten year old whipped up in five minutes or less. If there were more tracks and they were housed more attractively, then we'd be in business. As it is, this disc is only worth picking up if you are in a truck stop, had all your CDs stolen at your last stop, and you radio is broken. ~ Tim Sendra |
