Describing the Viva Pinata experience lends itself to comparisons with non-violent farming simulations like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing, as well as the "god games," like The Sims and Populous. Viva Pinata absolutely deserves to be mentioned alongside such lofty company, as the game mechanics are just as deep and equally satisfying...I had a great time playing Viva Pinata, and even now, with all the other excellent games available on this platform and on others, I can see myself playing it for months to come. You can always come up with better ways to design your garden, and take your newfound gardening knowledge in new directions to see what would make for a more fulfilling experience. - Gerald Villoria

This game is not just for kids, as the art style might make you think. In fact there is so much going on, it might be too frustrating for younger children. Viva Pinata is extremely easy to get into and is just as addictive. I have spent hours playing this game since I received it, and have enjoyed every minute of it.
