Using this on a low-end Dell (1.6 Ghz, 1GB RAM, XP SP2), and it works OK. I have direct line of sight to the digital towers, so the reception is very good. The included software is OK. Was this review helpful?  
4 of 5 HDTV Clear QAM look great Wednesday, January 23, 2008

I'm using the tv card in a new Acer Computer with a built-in nVidia video chip. The ati driver would become disabled after one use, and I would have to uninstall the driver in device manager and let it re-install itself. After getting an updated driver for the video card from nVidia, that problem went away. The second problem I'm still having is the Program Guide does'nt work for the NTSC mode. It can't seem to find a source to download. I still like the card though. Was this review helpful?

This card does not have full features without VISTA operating system. The card is listed with clear QAM cable digital reception, however this feature is not available in XP. XP allows analog cable and over-the-air HDTV only. To get clear QAM digital cable in standard or HD requires VISTA. This is not clear in the listing Was this review helpful?

Says it is vista ready. I think: not really. The drivers that came with the product are very buggy in windows vista (yes even the most updated ones).
This product works best with windows media center the remote control has limited ability here (the power button shuts your whole computer off), but the basic functions work fine.
Also, for $100 i would expect a dual tuner. Was this review helpful?
