5 of 5 Amazing card! Thursday, January 24, 2008 A Customer from Orlando, FL
I went from a Radeon X1600Pro to this massive beast! What a tremendous upgrade! Like going from Hot Wheels to Nascar! Plays Crysis on High Settings! Half Life 2? Runs better than ever! This card is the real deal. Get it, NOW. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great with x38! Wednesday, January 16, 2008 ccincape from Jupiter, Florida
This is the top of the line for ATI so the ideal choice for intel chipset users looking for dual graphics card setups. This guy sips power. At only 9 inches this baby fit in my 330 Elite case with a hard drive directly across from it. Runs at about 50C idle and 65C at load.
The most important thing though.... how did it perform? well at 1360 x 768 resolution I had all ultra high settings on asa well as 2x AA on Crysis and it ran at a good 35-30fps(definetly playable)
only thing is the drivers it came with were buggy... go ahead and download the most up to date drivers from ATIs site. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product! Wednesday, January 16, 2008 brett from montoursville
I bought this card for myself after doing some research online and i am very happy with it. The quality is great, i can run all of my games on the highest settings, even Crysis! It is amazing. It installs very easy, as long as you know how to put it in. It does come with instructions that are a little vague, but it can get the job done. I love that the card also comes with a DVI to VGA converter, and a DVI to HDMI converter. I can play my xbox 360 on my computer's monitor. There is one thing that disappointed me slightly. The way the card goes in causes the cooling fan to be upside down, and it seems like the fan isn't tightened in all the way because it "falls" down slightly and one part of it taps the protective case and creates a clicking noise. Eventually it does go away, but it comes back when i turn my computer on. It can probably be fixed very easily, i just haven't messed around with it. Was this review helpful?
