    Works great once you get it installed. Says it is Vista compatible, but drivers need to be downloaded from the internet. Easy of a computer gru, but not so easy for someone who is less familiar with computer technology.

    I had a 1999 Visioneer 8600 scanner that worked good, vista upgrade didn't work with old scanner. I was pissed at first,went to visioneer site for drivers and message said "do for extinction"!! Went to buy.com to look for new one and found the new replacement one for the old one. Didn't want to buy the cheapest one because it will be outdated soon too. The best one had a 50.00 rebate which made it the same price as the cheap one. Ordered it, hooked it up and it didn't find the software. Now it said it was vista capable but didn't come with the vista drivers so I went to the visioneer site, found the vista drivers which installed smoothly. DONE!!! Boy what a difference with the performance and speed and also the software!!! So easy to use and configure and send to the right destonation. (now I know why the old one was do for termination.)

    I am very satisfied with the performance of this product. This is the third Visioneer Scanner I have bought each time because I updated my computer making it necessary to update the scanner. I go shopping when it's time to change and I find this to be the best buy. Thank you for asking. I am however, still waiting on my $50 rebate that was promised.

    Had a 9020 that still works great EXCEPT the transparency function NEVER worked. Decided to bite the bullet and got the 9520. DOA. It appears to work, but the image always scans in as a scrambled image. Same results when connected to 2 different PCs. Called tech support who routed me to customer service who inferred a replacement was on its way, but several days later I receive an email to send it all back to them before I get a replacement. I realize the replacement procedure is pretty standard, but it still leaves me a long time without my purchase and having to pay for shipping again. So far, I am NOT impressed.
