Editor's Note
In this concert release, the Violent Femmes take the stage at one of their all-time favorite venues, the Boat House in Norfolk, Virginia. Later destroyed in a hurricane, the Boat House hosted the Violent Femmes for many shows across 20 years. This particular show stood out for its 130-degree onstage temperature and for its two-hour length. LIVE AND OTHERWISE features a 13-song set including "Blister in the Sun," and "Prove My Love."
