Great for use in high megapixel digital cameras, especially if you're shooting in RAW format. I'm using it in a Canon EOS 10D, and that gives me 150+ RAW images on the card. Keep in mind that most high end cameras have a high speed memory buffer, so buying high speed cards isn't always worth the difference in price (This card works perfectly with the 8 continuous shot mode on the 10D).

I received this item the day after I ordered it which is great considering the free shipping. Not much you can say about a 1GB CF card as long as it works, which mine does fine. Buy.com did not send it in the retail packaging which meant I did not have the UPC for the 45$ (at the time) rebate. I simply emailed them and explained my problem and they took 45$ off the charge to my credit card right away, again showing their great level of service. No complaints at all. I took a chance and bought one of the 1GB Viking cards for my Nikon D70, even though it wasn't on the recommended list at Nikon (cards that had been tested and approved). The first Viking card worked fine, so I ordered a second card about a month later. The second card works perfectly also. This was one of the best deals at the time of my purchase, for 1GB compact flash. Having the fastest card wasn't important when the camera has a 12 frame buffer when taking pictures in the highest resolution. I would recommend the Viking card. Was this review helpful?

I use the Fuji S2 and Viking CF cards exclusively. NEVER had any problems with the cards. My ONLY complaint is that they take a little bit to record and preview, unlike the new Lexar cards, but my camera body doesn't have the feature to allow for the new speed capabilities of the Lexar cards anyway. The Viking is an excellent value, especially at Buy.com. They have the lowest price and fast shipping. Was this review helpful?
