Viewsonic X Series VX922 LCD Monitor
ViewSonic VX922 19" LCD Display, 2ms, 650:1 Digital (DVI) and Analog (VGA)

This monitor is so sharp I had to manually adjust the output on my video card so I could read the fonts easier. Watching video on this monitor is great because there isn't any noticeable delay in the refresh rate. The value was also great because I bought it when it was $240 with a mail in rebate and free shipping :)

I received the monitor and it worked fine with the analog connection. When I used the digital connection, some fonts became very thin and light. I used Clear Type Tuner, but it didn't help that much. The only thing that worked was to press the "memory recall" setting on the On Screen Display settings. It cleared the font problem, but if I rebooted, or came out of sleep mode, it would revert back to the light, thin fonts. I called ViewSonic and I am sending it in for warranty service.

Great monitor - great price. The first one worked out so well, I bought a second one for duel display. 2 ms is great for gaming. Very happy with this monitor.

This is a superb gaming monitor. The 2ms response is very fast, and there is no bleeding of the graphics, nor of the text in windows. Also great for video. For Windows, it is a bit positional--meaning you have to sit directly in front of it. The only complaint I have is that in the upmost 1-inch area of the screen, the menu text of the File/Edit/Help Windows menus appear weird. If you stretch your neck to get in front of that text, it is very clear. Otherwise, very sharp and crisp on all other sections of the screen. I use this monitor at home, and I have two at work.

I was a bit wary of buying a LCD monitor for fear of getting one with dead pixels or my kids poking it with there fingers. But after I got it and set it up no dead pixels explained to the kids no touching. I am so happy I got this monitor it looks so much better than my old Sony CRT. The reponse time is awesome games look great. When my oldest's HP CRT dies I may get another one of these.

My second Viewsonic 19". The display is perhaps a bit "grainy" compared to VP930b, but still a great looking display, and Buy.com price was right. One dead pixel that won't wake up. The only nit is the stand is a little shaky compared to VP. Arrived within three days of order.

I replaced my older 19 CRT with the 19" Viewsonic VX922. The display is crystal clear and takes up much less space than the CRT which was the main reason I switched to an LCD. It worked pefectly right out of the box and the only thing I had to do was set the resolution to what I wanted. It is much brighter than my old one and seems so much larger due to the real 19" screen. There were no dead pixels and I would recommend this display to anyone interested in a 19 inch LCD with digital capabilities.

I purchased my first ViewSonic monitor a couple of years ago and have been a fan since. I now own two. The picture is great. Enhances game graphics. Easily installed. Thanks to Buy.com and Google.com for a great price break and ease of purchase. The only negative thing I have to mention is that after the drivers for the monitor is loaded it begins to nag you about your screen resolution being too high and you would get better performance at a lower resolution. This was easily taken care of with a setting change within the monitor's menu itself using the buttons on the front. Great product. I would definitely buy another.

We have two of these that we purchased at Microcenter for considerably more money. One is used on our all-around computer and the other is used on our son's gaming computer. The display is bright and the colors are full and saturated (in a good way). On the gaming computer there is no blurring of the images as games are played. And on both displays there are absolutely no dead pixels. As someone else noted all the needed cables are supplied, even the DVI was included with ours. Well worth the money. I don't miss our NEC Multisync 19" CRT at all!

I have owned this monitor for about four months now. I wanted to wait to get a better experience with it before doing my review. The response rate is very fast. Great for gaming, video waching, and everyday e-mail reading and writing. I had looked at monitors at Staples and then found this 19" here at Buy Dot Com. Free shipping is a plus. I had it up and running in a matter of minites. I am very pleased with Buy Dot Com and this product. Will be looking for a second monitor for my wife. Christmas is comming up and I think this would fit the bill rather nice.

Vivid colors, no difficulties with motion. This screen is fast and friendly. Setup was a breeze. (NO vga cord in box, only dvi) Something that I can recommend.

This is a great monitor. No dead pixels out of the box. Very bright. I even had to turn it down some. No ghosting with video playback. I installed this on W2K3 Server. Had to install the driver manually but no problems occured.

The monitor came with cords to plug into about anything. There were no installation issues, within 5 minutes it had replaced my original 13inch CRT. The image is clear and bright, no flicker with my nasty fluorescent lighting. No ghosts or shadows, no shiver, so sync problems, no screen-size/shape issues, no refresh hesitations even in very high frame rates. It could be that modern displays are all this nice, but I was very pleased with ease of installation and the quality of the product.

I bought three of these for a surround gaming system with the Matrox Tripleheadtogo and its great these monitors came with no dead pixels and the quality is better than i expected coming from a 20" CRT. Buy.com has great prices to boot.

I bought 3 of these to use in a triple monitor config and it looks great no dead pixels. fast response time so no ghosting what elese can you ask for..

This monitor is great. I had been wanting it for quite some time and I finally caved in and bought it. As a gamer, I would never have gotten a flat panel monitor, but this being the "worlds fastest" LCD, I figured i would try it. The colors are bright, the images and text are sharp and it takes up soo much less space than a CRT. Setup was quick, easy and effortless. Changing the settings and making the monitor "just right" was just as easy. The contrast is also great and there were absolutely no ghost images in any of my games or movies. One great piece of hardware. Thanks Viewsonic!

This is my first Viewsonic Monitor. I'll be a repeat (Viewsonic) customer. This one replaced a Gateway 18" LCD that was nice til it failed. I was a bit surprised at how sharp and bright the Viewsonic is. I had to turn down the brightness and contrast from the factory settings. It is even bright and crisp in the daytime, when the room is bright. It also has a wider viewing angle that my old one. It would be hard to beat at any price, but it seems to be a real value. I highly recommend it.

I have always been a ViewSonic fan. All of my CRT monitors ever purchased have been ViewSonic. When my wife wanted to upgrade to an LCD monitor I shopped around online and in stores for the best monitor at the lowest price. All other LCDs I found had a low contrast ratio and high response time. Compared to other LCDs, this monitor gives you the best of both worlds. An above average contrast ratio gives you excellent quality pictures, especially under moderately high lighting conditions. Additionally, the low response time means you barely ever see any ghosting, no matter what you are doing. You won't be disappointed with this monitor.

I have seen LCD monitors but this one is the BEST by far. I have only had this one a couple of days but can say I would never have found a better one no matter how long I looked. I am hooked on ViewSonic now. The colors are so true and vibrant, also great for games.
