I bought to replace another 22" Viewsonic that needed repair right before it was 1 year old. The original one was under warranty and I didn't want to switch back to a 19" while waiting to get the original back. Just like the first 22" Viewsonic this has a great picture and easy to assemble, just hope it last longer than 1 year before it needs service. I have had many Viewsonics and the first 22" was the first that has ever needed service.

This flat screen monitor if fantastic. The resolution and color is fantastic. It took a lot of researching for me to find an all around great 22" monitor. I couldn't be happier!

After going through a protracted RMA/ARP with ViewSonic for a DOA monitor, I have finally (6 weeks after ordering) recieved a usable monitor. The installation and set-up under XPPro was good, tuning and correcting the colors worked reasonably well (probably not up to a graphic artist's needs) but great for business use PLUS high quality DVD or online TV show replays (I don't use its built-in speakers). I'd recommend this monitor based on price/performance.

Great monitor. Very easy to hook up. Recognized immed. by my Dell PC. Laptop needed CD. Speakers are small and cheap. I was hoping to not need speakers on the desk, but even the cheapest computer speakers will be better than the ones on the monitor. If you only need the speakers to hear when you get mail, they're fine. Otherwise, I recommend getting the 2262W (w/o speakers).

This display is big, crisp and bright. Mine came with no dead or stuck pixels and was a great price (still waiting on on my $50 Rebate.) I have not tested or used the speakers but I wouldn't expect much from them. I am using the DVI connection and am happy with the picture and response time of the display. I wish the display included some USB ports for convenience or had a slightly less "wobbly" stand, but these are minor complaints. The color is decent but it does take a bit to get it dialed in and calibrated. Overall this is a very nice display for the money.

I've been using this monitor now for a couple of weeks and have been nothing but impressed. There have been no issues with quality, and the picture is spectacular.

Very nice price especially with the rebate. Nice, bright clear display. Had to sign for the delivery and wasn't expecting that. Took a couple of deliveries before I received the product. Had problems with the original video card being compatible with this monitor (e-GeForce 8400 GS NVIDIA). Could not get a clear display with VGA connection. Digital hookup would hardly display at all, would garble screen with any videos played through media center, would not even render the 3-D screen saver. Replaced video card with VisionTek ATI RADEON HD 4850. Much, much better performance now. Beautiful display.

I must say that I love this monitor. I had been waiting to add a monitor setup for my laptop at home. It makes a HUGE difference. It looks great, too. I haven't noticed any backlight bleeding on the edges or any flaws. Only challenge I had was NOT having a DVI or HDMI port on my laptop. I'm sure the quality would be even more crisp if it were in hi-def. Buy.com 2nd day shipping had it at my door in only TWO days. However, it was in the MONITOR box (not a brown box). DHL was thankful I was home as they thought the monitor might disappear if they left the box on my porch. Worth the money!

This is a very sleek monitor. I will look great on your desk. Easy install and the image is perfect. I have not used it to watch HDTV so I cannot comment on that. You should note: This monitor is fixed in landscape orientation. You cannot rotate it to portrait. I don't do that but if you need to this monitor won't work for you. Also, the pedestal is flexible so the monitor will move if you touch it. Not really a problem ... just disconcerting at first. My monitor was shipped promptly by BUY.COM. As far as I can tell all pixels are working fine. I don't know what backlight bleed is but everything looks OK to me.

With the cost of high-end monitors tumbling, this unit from ViewSonic offers quality at an affordable price. Set up was a snap ans it worked right out of the box, no lengthy set up to worry about. It was also nice that all the cables are included: power and both VGA and DVi, which saved hassle and money!

I had been looking for a LCD 20" or bigger that had the combination of price, High contrast ratio, fast response time, good brightness, and a decent design. This monitor is nothing short of incredible. While I got it for a lot less than it is currently priced for, it is a good buy even at the higher price. I simply love the monitor using it both for computer and with a KWorld 1600TV box for watching cable television. It doesn't get much better!! I ordered it one day and it arrived the next with just regular shipping!!! Now that was spooky! :)) My only criticism is the speakers are pretty poor, but then that is fairly normal for monitor speakers. Just use my desk powered speakers and leave the monitor to the picture end of business! :)

This monitor yields an awesome picture. The one drawback is the built-in speakers. The speakers work, but the sound is just not that great.

I bought a vx1942wm on ebay last week and resold it as it had a stuck pixel. Then I bought this monitor on buy.com and was amazed at the image quality. Infact the audio isn't as bad as some of the monitors on the market. One problem I noticed is the back light bleed. Yes, For such an awsome monitor, the back light bleed is a sow down. Apart from that, I would rate it as one of the best monitors available. 5 stars for the monitor but I take away 1 star for the back light bleed. So 4 stars for an excellent monitor
