5 of 5 This is my 4th Viewsonic at home... Saturday, March 17, 2007
A Customer from Redmond, WASHINGTON

I quickly sold 2 Viewsonic CRTs during a Garage Sale and now have 2 Viewsonic LCD's. We have a 19" and this version (same model group). I’ll be buying 2 more soon for we have a server and 5-client network at home. Retired IT, at work we had a quarter million DELL desktops/laptops at any one time not counting 1,000s servers from the CRAY down to SUN and HP-Compact Servers. (Dell's largest single customer, therefore Microsoft’s single largest customer and test partner of MS business products/systems). The company sales move the GNP indicator. Who am I writing about: Should not say, I suppose, although I’m sure Bill Gates' wealth could purchase the company. Point is: I've never had but one Viewsonic Monitor quit on me while I used the Viewsonic. Dumb me, though, I forgot a 22.1 inch widescreen is not as vertically high as the 19" standard screen. Next time, I'll use the Pythagorean Theorem for I like a taller screen area. A 23+ inch widescreen would do for starters. Also to mention: Great Color, works nice as a HDTV monitor using KWORLD Products with satellite or cable. (Using lowest Kevin Temp “Color Adjust” is best.) Another feature I like. The Server is connected with the d-sub cable and my station is connected with the DIV-D cable. With the push of a button I can go between the server and client. My computer uses external amp and speakers. But the server sound is connected to the monitor’s speakers. The monitor's built in speakers are only suitable for the auto time announcements, warnings, etc. 1. I didn’t purchase the monitor for the speakers or because it has speakers. 2. The server uses a system board with Realtek Audio built-in, which is only suitable for time announcements, warning, etc.

5 of 5 Tuesday, January 23, 2007
A Customer from New Jersey
Although I had some issues with dead pixels, and strange sleep mode problems, ViewSonic finally came through and shipped me a new monitor. This new one is much better - no dead pixels, same great quality of image, rich color, no ghosting, and an ample work area to handle my design work. It took a while, but they've redeemed themselves, and I would highly suggest this monitor as a result.

5 of 5 this is fabulous Thursday, November 09, 2006
amy from sacramento
this monitor is good for its price. even thoug you don't have the ability to bend and move the monivor up and down like some other ones, the height that its in plus its size, doesn't really need any adjustment. the color on this thing is brilliant. if you have nvidia graphics card, turn on digital vibrance and this thing is even more amazing. it has really good refresh rates. I use it for gaming (cs) and graphic editing and its a great monitor for both.

5 of 5 Incredible Picture! Thursday, November 02, 2006
A Customer from Joe in Boston
I thought I would never move to LCD from CRT because of the image quality and brightness issues I've seen in the past, but this Display is outstanding! Bright crisp images, no ghosting whatsoever, fast and very easy to use. The Driver CD though is pretty lame, in that it makes you load Adobe 4.0 even though I had 7.0 already installed on my system. I had to completely remove and reload Adobe after loading the driver because of this issue. The driver won't install w/out it...Otherwise, this monitor is Perfect in every way. I also recommend a DVI graphics card so that you can appreciate the true image quality.

5 of 5 Excellent Monitor; excellent service Monday, October 23, 2006
L. Harrison from New York, NY
The monitor arrived about 2 days after I ordered it - promptly and with no hassles. The actual product is amazing - huge screen and very clear/crisp. Installation was a breeze - it took about 2 minutes to plug in. Nothing else to say - except WOW for both the product and the Buy.com service/price

5 of 5 Great picture for the price Sunday, September 17, 2006
A Customer from Warrenton, VA
I've never had a bad out-of-the-box experience with ViewSonic, and this monitor didn't disappoint. My video card runs it at the max resolution, and it is one sweet image. I had already checked out the compatibility with the games I play, and have no complaints after a few weeks with it.

5 of 5 Fantastic Value! Tuesday, September 12, 2006
Glenn from Tucson, AZ
My machine is multi-purpose, handling everything from video gaming to video editing. I have another 19" Viewsonic as my secondary screen for video previews. The extra real estate of this widescreen is fantastic. Plenty of room for multitasking, extra room for tool palettes, and great performance. It would take 3x the cost to get something noticably better.

4 of 5 Widescreen Great for multiple open windows Monday, September 11, 2006
A Customer from cleveland, OH
I like the widescreen to have several open windows at the same time. Monitor was very easy to set up. Plug and play. Disc worked seamlessly. Bright color. Crisp text. Remember it is a wide screen, so it will be the same height of a 17" monitor but about 4" wider than a 17"monitor. Still a good deal for the price. it was even cheaper than buying it on Ebay. Go Buy.com!!!! Buy.com is the best site, no matter how long I search for a better deal, I end up back at Buy.com making the purchase.

5 of 5 Easy choice Thursday, August 24, 2006
Lerp from Earth, Western Spiral
I don't think you can get a better 20" Widescreen LCD for close to this price. I'm an expert user and I researched the heck out of LCDs before pulling the trigger on this one. I've checked out every offering from Dell, Samsung, Apple, Sony, etc., and the performance/value ratio on this model is by far the best. I've been using it with my Mac on the DVI input and an Xbox 360 on the VGA... easy to switch and they both look killer! Pros: beautiful picture, sleek design, great price point, multiple inputs (which Apple's expensive displays inexplicably lack). No dead/stuck pixels on mine. Cons: Not the most adjustable display, but it's perfect for my desk. I recommend getting out a measuring tape and checking the specs on this thing for your setup. Speakers are low-quality, but what would you expect? If sound is in the least bit important to you, then you should have a speaker system with a subwoofer.

5 of 5 Superb Monitor Tuesday, August 22, 2006
One very happy customer! from Charlotte, NC
If you're looking for a wide screen monitor that is near perfection, look no further. This monitor replaced another Viewsonic LCD 18" monitor that served me very well for 5 years. It continues to give perfect performance - never had a days worth of trouble with it - so I gave it to my son. I wanted a wide screen monitor and didn't really even consider any brand but Viewsonic. Well, I once again made the right choice with this one. It's bright, no dead pixels, no lag, and looks absolutely gorgeous on my desk. Like others here, I don't use the monitor speakers as I have great Altec Lansing speakers with a subwoofer that perform flawlessly. The fact that there's very little adjustment capability doesn't bother me one bit. Folks, don't hesitate to get this one, and purchase it from Buy.com. I ordered this monitor from them on a Monday and had it on Wednesday, and the shipping was free, not to mention that they had the best price around!

4 of 5 Very nice for the Price! Wednesday, August 09, 2006
A Customer from charles town, WV
I really like this monitor a lot. It has a good look to it and is defiantly something you notice once you walk into the room. The reason I didn't give it a 5 out of 5 is because it is not perfect but close. Pros - looks great, very bright, price, wide screen is amazing, no dead pixels, easy controls, lots of fun to surf the web. Cons - my speakers on my phone are better than theses, picture could be a little sharper, no height adjustment but not that big of a deal. The big question is would I get this same monitor again if I started all over and the answer is YES!

5 of 5 Awsome Tuesday, August 01, 2006
A Customer from Moreno Valley, CA
Although I was a little overwhelmed by its size, I quickly got used to it. It arrived with (as far as I can tell) zero dead pixels. Probably one of the best PC purchases I've made since switching from a Intel Celeron (800 mhz) to a Pentium 4 several years ago.

5 of 5 Great! Make it adjustable, read how below Tuesday, July 25, 2006
Howie from Hemet, California
I purchased this monitor after scouring the internet for the best deal possible and after finding it I wanted to make sure I could adjust it with tilt, height, and rotation. I found the solution right here at Buy.com Simply look for the Neo-Flex by Ergotron and it will transform the ViewSonic VX2025wm to a full featured adjustabe LCD monitor.A vast improvement over the stock stand.I can raise the monitor 5" now rotate 90 degrees lots of tilt and horzontal rotation as well. The Neo-Flex base is actually a bit wider then the stock base. On the back of the ViewSonic LCD are 4 small rubber plugs they are the mounting points for the VESA adaptor and the fit is perfect to the Neo-Flex adjustable stand the only aftermarket stand I could find for my ViewSonic monitor. This is a very nice gaming monitor and making it adjustable gives me much more flexability using aps like Photoshop.

5 of 5 Beyond expectations! Wednesday, June 21, 2006
Nathan Burt from Preston, MD
I was doubtful when ordering this monitor because of bad experiences with a dell 2005FPW, i'm a gamer and the dell just didn't cut it. I bought the VX2025WM recently and have been blown away by it, coming from a 17" CRT this thing is simply massive. Pictures and games are razor sharp, and the picture is vivid, much better than my old CRT. The colors are also very good, and in my opinion better than the 2005FPW. It does lack an adjustable stand, and has little tilt, so those are things to take into consideration, and the so called "screen door effect" exists, but I rarely take any notice of it. If your looking for a widescreen with great bang for your buck, look no further than this.

5 of 5 Looks Awesome Friday, June 16, 2006
A Customer from Cookeville,TN
So far this monitor has been great. Hooked it up right out of the box and worked beautifully. Haven't tried the speakers that come with it so I wouldn't know about those. No Dead Pixels and great service as always from Buy.Com.

5 of 5 great LCD Saturday, June 10, 2006
Ken from Huntington Beach, Ca
I like this monitor. It has a great display and works fine with my new HP laptop. The speakers are a little under-powered. I would recommend external speakers. I installed an articulating wall mount and it freed-up my desktop. It allows me to move the monitor in any direction (side to side and distance from the wall). The Widescreen monitor is very good at giving the user plenty of screen space. The results of the screen space help in displaying full pages, unlike before on the old CRT monitor. There is less mouse scrolling from side to side and up and down because of the abundance of screen space. The monitor resolution displays more on the page. Very cool……………

5 of 5 First choice... a winner! Monday, May 15, 2006
Michael from Atlanta, GA
Waited a long time to replace the old 20" tube display, but when it started failing and LCD prices dropped into my price range, I chose this Viewsonic VX2025 over the competitively-priced Dell models. I chose based on reviews and price alone, but now that I've got one of my own up and running I am ecstatic with my choice. PROs: -sharp, bright, colorful display -perfect size (wouldn't want one any larger) -no-brainer setup: Mac OS 10.4 took over and it looked perfect with NO adjustments from me -great price CONs: none

5 of 5 What a Display! Wednesday, May 10, 2006
A Customer from Ashby, MA.
Having been exposed to only Analog 15-pin displays, I decided to buy this display after extensive review searching on many websites. I hooked this up to my ATI Radeon 9550 with the DVI connections and was "bowled over" with the graphics! No need to make those cumbersome display adjustments like analog displays, everything syncs/sizes automatically, just change the recommended optimal Display Resolution in Control Panel>Display on your PC after connecting to your system and be prepared for some awesome graphics. The display is bright, sharp and doesn't need any adjustments... the widescreen is incredible and you'll never go back to standard displays. I never tried the internal speakers because I also ordered the Altec Lansing speakers with the Subwoofer setup for 20 bucks! A great combination to get your gaming on the right track! No dead Pixels, no Ghosting, a High Quality Display! My only complaint is the installation CD, it could use a little updating for the Monitor Registration process (Doesn't List the Model in the selection) and QA testing for the installation. It installs Acrobat Reader 4.05 (Even if you have a higher version like me already installed) and doesn't allow you to continue the installtion without installing the Reader... I de-installed it after the completion of the drivers. BTW it would be nice to see a "Driver Installtion Complete" message, when it's finished. Worth Every Buck, though.
