I had a Viewsonic VX2835wm 28" LCD, which I primarily used for gaming. I can't believe I'm writing this, but it was a little bit too big. The resolution is the same, so the larger size doesn't give you any more viewing area, it just makes the bits you're looking at farther apart. That model also doesn't have near the color spectrum that the professional series does. I didn't think I would notice, but was surprised to find that it was really a problem at times.
We chose to move the 28" to another system and upgrade mine to this 26" model (VP2650WB). I can tell you that the difference in color quality is absolutely worth the extra cost, even to my quite unsophisticated perception. I've had it for about 3 weeks and am just thrilled with it.
There was some question whether the height is adjustable. It is. On the back of the stand is a little shiny metal ring with a card with perplexing drawings attached. Pull the ring out and free the height adjustment mechanism.
