This set performs very well. You can tell it is designed to be a monitor, because it is a little slower to start than a regular television. The picture is superb. It contains several different picture ratios to adjust for what ever format the image is coming in as. It has enough inputs that I have forgotten what is plugged in where a couple of times. It does let you scroll though each type of input, i.e. HD, Component, Computer, etc. without going through the entire list. The sound is good, but needs more power for (action) movies. It does have several audio output options to input into the surround sound system. All and all, a very nice product for the money. Was this review helpful?

After owning the product for a month it's delivered superbly. I use it as both a TV and computer monitor.
Only gripe is the standard cable is sometimes grainy which it never was on my old tube TV. It's only some of the time though and only in the lower channels. This would not be an issue if I actually had HDTV hooked up to it though.
