When the price is right I always scoop up a 100 pack of these disks. Rarely, if ever, do I find a bad one and the quality is good. They just do what they should, buy with confidence.

I recently burned 100 DVD's to hand out to the families of my graduating students. I do this every year, and every year I test every burned DVD to make sure that it can at least bring up the menu and begin playing one of the tracks. Yet even after that I always have come parents who call to say that their DVD won't play and I'll have to make them another. So far this year, using the Verbatim instead of Sony and Memorex, I had no errors in burning and no parents have called to ask for a replacement. It looks like 100% success so far. First time ever. Success in burning is more than just because of the money too. I have also recently tried to play a family DVD only to find out that it is freezing or skipping when I thought it had turned out good, and it is too late to burn another copy, since it is erased from the computer. Again this was burned on either Sony or Memorex. In the future I intend to stick with Verbatim. Actually, I also recently tried out some TDK's that had 100% success too, so I may use those again too, maybe if they have a good deal. Otherwise I think I'm sticking with Verbatim.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST DVD-R DISK OUT THERE,IF SOMEONE IS HAVING A PROBLEM IT'S THEM AND NOT THE DISK!NO BURN PROBLEM'S,NO COASTER'S,EASY TO USE.I WAS USING OTHER BRANDS THAT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE TO VERBATIM,THANKS AGIN FOR THE GREAT QUALITY PRODUCT DON'T CHANGE A THING.

BEST BRAND OUT THERE. JUST A QUALITY BRAND WITH GREAT RESULTS ALL THE TIME. MAYBE HAVE 4 OR 5 BAD DISCS IN A 100 PACK,WHILE OTHERS HAVE 10-20 %BAD DISCS

In the past, I hadn't had much luck burning DVD's and had pretty much given up on the notion. I was throwing out more than were coming out useable. Because of the price, I decided to give it another try. Now I'm a burnin' fool and all are coming out fine.

Some of us look for and discuss recordable media as if they were gold. If you keep making "coasters" you need not look any further. Verbatim CDRs and DVD-Rs (also CD-RWs and DVD-RWs)yield consistently good results. The only time I ever get a dud is when my software screws up somehow. Car CD and DVD-A players are notoriously finicky. I use some tricky burning software to create DVD-As and was forced to do my research. After trying dozens of branded and unbranded products I never feel tempted to use anything other than Verbatim. There are only a few manufacturers (like CMC, Ritek and Moser Baer India) and Philips, who owns many of the manufacturing process patents will put you out of business if you don't "talk" to them, but the stuff that Verbatim brands seems to have gone through a more thorough quality control than most others'. Make sure you have the latest reader/writer drivers for your hardware and your software is set-up properly. Nonetheless, you can't go wrong with Verbatim. When I am ready to buy another batch, I always check here first, at Buy.com, because, usually, it is here that I find some the best prices anywhere, including eBay and Amazon. Shipping speed is simply amazing.

Verbatim dvd's are one of the best out there besides Taiyo Yudens, I always buy one of these two, which ever is cheaper on sale.Buy.com had these with a 8.00 dollar rebate and free shipping and it was fast with standard shipping 2 or three days I think.

In my opinion, these are the most reliable DVD's available. I guess it is you pay for what you get. Very few failed burns. I have found is not the case for less expensive brands.

Verbatim's DVD-R's work flawlessly! When you buy a 100 pack of other DVD-R's (Memorex, Maxell from personal experience), probably 20 out of those 100 will end up being thrown away because they won't burn correctly. I haven't had one single Verbatim disc fail on me, and I doubt they will. You are really getting your money's worth when you buy this product; especially with free shipping and the lowest price you can find on the internet at Buy.com. Don't forget the $8.00 rebate I got!

Verbatim is the only blank media I buy. I never had any trouble with it, like I did with some other brands. They sometimes cost a little more but are worth it. I did get the mail-in rebate with this purchase which made it a no-brainer to buy them.

I used Verbatim DVD-R media for 2 years with my NEC 2500D burner. I burned over 1500 disks with zero coaters, that is right, zero! I now own a bad fast Samsung and have had no problems yet. Do not look for DVD-R, just buy Verbatim -R and save yourself alot of trouble. I like waiting until the price gets to around 20.00-23.00 with or without rebate, that is my strike price and when I see it, I do not hesitate to buy 3+ 100 pack bundles. Two thumbs way up!

This is the first batch of Verbatim DVD's that I had problems writing to. I had 5 bad ones from the 7 that I used. I called Verbatim and they were very nice and replaced the whole 100. Just a nusiance.

I've used both + and -Rs from Verbatim (several hundred of them), and I'm very happy with the performance: next to none coasters, flawless burns nearly all of the time. I'm also hoping that they'll prove to be long lasting (oldest I have so far are 2 years old). Buy.com service was great as usual: prompt delivery, no problems with billing. They also seem to have improved their packaging process: last few cake-boxes have reached without any cracks. Also gotten all of my verbatim rebates back so far!

I've used the dvd-rs almost halfway and everyone of them have worked well. The burning speed is very fast and the dvds have also been burnt correctly. This is also the cheapest spindle I've seen online for Verbatim DVD-R at 16x burn speed (free shipping!) You can't find a better deal than this! Oh and for me, I received mine spindle in perfect condition.

I have ordered this product many times from Buy.com and every time I receive it, the cake box is shattered. I still would recommend the product even though I may have to throw out a few scratched disks. Great media! Poor Packing...

These Verbatim 16X DVD-R discs have consistently provided excellent reliability at a very good price from Buy.com . However, also consistently, they ship the cakebox of discs insecurely in a sturdy box, which, due to handling during packing and shipping and handling, invariably causes the locking tabs on the bottom of the box to break loose from the base couplings, thus scattering the discs willy-nilly inside the box and consequently causing some of them to be scratched and unusable. I know this is a common complaint from other buyers based on comments I've seen.

These Verbatim DVD-Rs are NOT made in Taiwan. They are also not as pictured. I received 2 of the dreaded orange 100 pack spindles made in India. There is a higher failure rate and more errors associated with the lesser quality made in India / orange spindle.

I've burned several hundred DVD's using this medium and Verbatim has been Top Notch all the way. I'll keep using these as long as they make them this well! The price is good. I've found them for as low as $17 after rebates and Verbatim seems consistently good about issuing the rebates (although it takes several weeks to receive it.)

I bought Verbatim DVDs based on many positive reviews. Those DVDs were not as good as I expected. I used Lite-on drive to burn those DVDs at maximum speed, and used Nero DiscSpeed to scan them. There were many errors. To me, Verbatim are not better than other brands.

The DVDs are great!!! The bad thing is the quality of shipping. I was getting them as a gift for someone, but when I got the 1st package and opened it the bottom of the spindle was broken off and a third of the DVDs were scattered all over the bottom of the box and damaged. I sent them back and the next spindle they sent me, the same thing had happened, but this time only 1 DVD was damaged. So, I just took the DVDs off of that spindle, put them on an old one I had and was finally able to give it to the person as a gift. Buy.com still hasnt returned my calls or emails and this was weeks ago. My boyfriend had never experienced this problem before because he buys cases at a time. I would suggest buying in bulk because they package it tighter.

For some reason I am not getting 4.7GB of storage capacity on these disks. I have never had this issue with other DVD-R's before. I tried to copy 4.4gb of data onto these disks and kept receiving not enough storage errors.

I have some experience with several brands of recordable CD & DVDs. I have never had any big issues with any brands, but have experienced some errors while recording to no-name CDs. There are reports that some of these recordable disks will degrade and lose information over time. I have not seen that with any product. Through research, it appears that Verbatim has done more to ensure longer life of their products over any other brand, including the major name brand products. I feel conident in using this brand and recommend it for recording and data back-up.

I am very satisfied with the product. The downside is the quality of shipping. When I received the package and opened it the bottom of the spindle was broken off and I had about twenty disks scattered all over the bottom of the box. Luckily there was only one (1) that was damaged enough that I had to throw it away. More attention should be giving to packing and shipping to keep the product secure from damage. Thank You.

I ordered a case of 100 16x Verbatim DVD-R's. Buy.com shipped them to me very quickly. The case for the DVD's was cracked, however the DVD's themselves were in good shape. I taped up the case and it's fine now. Probably happened during shipping. No big deal. The price was good, and the shipping was fast, even though I picked the cheapest method. Best Regards, Zareh
